There once was a mighty king John,
Built a castle and then he was gone.
    He was Limerick's best,
    And was never a pest,
But these days he could catch Omicron.

    =)

A lovely dated church and good mix of congregation .
Victor spared time despite his busy schedule to share the history and details of the church. A must visit .

What a lovely place! Some great food stalls, good butchers, nice fresh produce. The stall holders were friendly and knowledgeable.

Mostly under cover but with some overflow stalls in nearby streets.

Please be aware that the market proper is on Saturdays. I see some people gave only one star because they turned up on the wrong day!

Go on Saturday and you won’t be disappointed.

Note this is sometimes referred to as the Limerick Food Market, but it is situated at the Milk Market.

It would have attracted 5 stars but there is no provision for dogs and their owners wanting to actually sit down and eat at a food market…. Hmmm

The atmosphere was incredible. Respect for opponents and massive support for the home side. A great sporting venue

Mike, our guide was superb! He was so engaging, knowledgeable and added a bit of humour. We really enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend everybody to visit The Hunt Museum. Mike & Mary Ryan

The inside of this cathedral is stunning. I enjoyed spending time here looking around and spending time in quiet reflection.

I was in today to get a bracelet for my cousins 30th birthday. I gave a small idea of what I was looking for to a lovely woman named Fatima. She straigh away found an item that was exactly what I was looking for. Such helpful staff and beautiful jewellery. Will definitely be back again

We did not have a chance to stop and see the church but we did get a few pictures for our trip album. The structure is a site to see and we would have liked to have been ablw to stop and check it out.

Great space for a gallery. Very serene and great light in most of the rooms. Peaceful most of the time on a Sunday anyway and right next to the park so the kids can go mad afterwards. Swanzy exhibition was excellent as was Ryan (what is that white dog/llama). O'Dwyer was waaaay over my head. Very abstract. Kids thought it was mad but good to expose them to different versions of Art.

I came here to visit the church which my daughter is obsessed with ever since Netflix's Angela's Secret. I chatted with a lady from the church who offered me a prayer and safe travels.

We spent about an hour in the Limerick City Museum. Its small but comprehensive exhibits about the city’s industrial and social past in particular were very well done. It’s free to enter and provides an interesting background to Limerick.

My experience is personal and redeeming. Suffice it to say that I now go to confession in the Redemptorist Church frequently- a massive turn-about in my life for which I am most grateful. I would recommend anyone, no matter what their fears or imagined hopelessness to do as I did- try it out, you have nothing to lose- but will experience forgiveness, peace, contentment and a powerful release from guilt, despair, fear and doom. If I could do it- so can anyone.

I stumbled onto this church while strolling around the city. While it is not overly ornate, I found it to be an incredibly peaceful place to sit in prayer. I ended up stopping by quite often while I was staying in Limerick.

We stopped by to have a look at the art exhibition and were very pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the welcome from people working there and offers to show us around. Very interesting collection of exhibits, will suit anyone with curiosity
