Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had read about this small musuem housed in the historic Customs House, and it did not disappoint. Our only regret is that we could have spent far more time there than we had. Highly recommnded.

We spent about an hour in the Limerick City Museum. Its small but comprehensive exhibits about the city’s industrial and social past in particular were very well done. It’s free to enter and provides an interesting background to Limerick.

We spotted mention of this town in a small brochure, on a whim decided to visit. Well worth our while. We saw the Blossom Gate at the end of the street, as we turned to head to the Friary we saw the little museum. The gentleman on duty gave us a great potted history of the town. We really appreciated the time he spent with us.
We visited both the Friary and Church with far more knowledge.
He even gave us a tip for a cafe, which served lovely scones

    Would recommend visiting this town

The Heritage Centre provides lots of information with its displays and artefacts from the German Palatine settlements in Ireland in the 1700's, the changes that the Palatines brought to Ireland and lives of these people. Padraig was extremely helpful and provided additional information from his local knowledge of the area. A visit is recommended for anyone visiting the area who is interested in history / agriculture / migration. A very unique aspect of Ireland's colourful history.

The stone hall is a farm with so many different animals, you will be amazed! From cats sitting with hens, ostrich, peacocks, birds of prey, so many varieties, its a great afternoon for any age group. Wear comfortable shoes as there are plenty of walks and pretty Forest to see.
