Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was undecided which museum to visit and I opted for Hunt museum. It’s the personal, eclectic collection of John and Gertrude Hunt across 3 levels. The staff are knowledgeable - thank you Mike.

Great space for a gallery. Very serene and great light in most of the rooms. Peaceful most of the time on a Sunday anyway and right next to the park so the kids can go mad afterwards. Swanzy exhibition was excellent as was Ryan (what is that white dog/llama). O'Dwyer was waaaay over my head. Very abstract. Kids thought it was mad but good to expose them to different versions of Art.

Visit the University of Limerick's Self portrait art gallery if you're in the mood to appreciate art of a difference. As you enter the Concert hall you'll find beautiful murals with Irish sayings taking you back to the medieval period. The World Irish academy has lunch and evening performances which are free. Some performances are by the music students. You'll be enthralled by the mystical Irish music.

The National Self Portrait Collection of Ireland University of Limerick is situated in close proximity to the National Watercolour Collection in the Atrium of the University of Limerick Concert Hall Building.

The two attractions can be viewed in tandem.
