Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Martina M3 contributionsWould highly recommend, had a flat tyre on my car and popped in here for a coffee.Staff were extremely friendly and Stephen in particular went above and beyond to see if he could be of any help with the car while I waited for tyre company.Great coffee, will most defiantly pop back to have a beer or 2!!Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KJLAtlanta, GA2 contributionsCaught some glorious sun in Limerick. Vibes at Crew were immaculate. Beer sublime. Superb hospitality. A good bit of craic. Totally cliche on my part, but "For a good time..."Written 6 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - orlagh mPortlaoise, Ireland49 contributionsOur club, Laois Arch Club, is a social club for adults with additional needs. A group of 41 members plus 18 helpers visited Receipe 4Success last weekend while on a weekend break in Limerick. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Some of our members were a bit iffy about it beforehand but at the end of the weekend these same people stated that it was the highlight of the weekend for them. This is not a cookery lesson, it is a cookery experience- interactive, fun, banter, competition- simply brilliant. The welcome we received from Eithne and her team was amazing and it was pitched perfectly for our group. It's extremely difficult to find activities for groups such as ours but we would all highly recommend this. Give it a try!Written 29 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tim B18 contributionsMother Macs Whiskey Tasting Experience. Thought we would have a few whiskeys to try with a little information about each.
What we got was a Masterclass in the distillery business, it's history, etiquette, Tasting and aromas.
All delivered by a friendly and down to earth Michael with no hurry who obviously is passionate about whiskey as well as being extremely well qualified in it.
We also enjoyed learning about the history of Mother Macs pub and how whiskey was stored in its basement.
Magnificent experience. Count myself extremely lucky to have sampled this and recommend without reservation.Written 26 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. His knowledge of the history, the culture is second to none. And he's a great guy, very friendly. I can't recommend him strongly enough. We did 9 days with Liam and all along the west coast. This is the way to travel.Written 29 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Shannon VSacramento, CA5 contributionsThis tour filled us to the brim and there were too many courses to count. We remember Irish apples and then freshly made potato crisps made with a drill in front of our eyes. Then the nuthut gave us wholesome bakery treats of all sorts. Huge hunks of delicious cheese, loaded pork sausage rolls, steaming black pudding, smoked ham, huge pieces of fried fish and much more. We were full for HOURS. I highly recommend!Written 3 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
