Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is such a fun and unique experience! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something different to do with family or friends. The location is also very convenient as it is so close to the city centre. I’ve been twice now and can’t wait to go back again! Perfect for birthdays, hens or just a fun night out. You won’t be disappointed!

Our club, Laois Arch Club, is a social club for adults with additional needs. A group of 41 members plus 18 helpers visited Receipe 4Success last weekend while on a weekend break in Limerick. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! Some of our members were a bit iffy about it beforehand but at the end of the weekend these same people stated that it was the highlight of the weekend for them. This is not a cookery lesson, it is a cookery experience- interactive, fun, banter, competition- simply brilliant. The welcome we received from Eithne and her team was amazing and it was pitched perfectly for our group. It's extremely difficult to find activities for groups such as ours but we would all highly recommend this. Give it a try!

Crew brews some fantastic beers. Absolutely worth a visit. Any time we've been in, theres always a great atmosphere. Very chilled. And add this to the grub across the road in the wickham way, you're on to a winner.

What an incredibly charming and uniquely placed establishment, situated under the watchful eye of Limericks King Johns Castle. The freshest beer with the greatest flavour. Everything about this places says quality and quirkiness. And at the beating heart of that is Steven the owner. He was born to be in this business and his love and passion for what he has achieved of limericks greatest and most under utilised street is awe inspiring. How and why this street isn’t pedestrianised to allow the free flow of conscientious and thoughtful visitors and locals alike to connect with the incredible castle and the incredible beer is slightly baffling.

Nonetheless there’s no where else you want to be when you’re in good company and want to spend your time and money somewhere that gives you a
    mighty return.

Thai area has been revamped by the energy Treaty City Brewery brings and there’s so much more potential and when all those ideas come to fruition this street will be epic.

Liam was fabulous. As folks who love to take private tours, Liam ranks up there as the very best. His knowledge of the history, the culture is second to none. And he's a great guy, very friendly. I can't recommend him strongly enough. We did 9 days with Liam and all along the west coast. This is the way to travel.

This tour filled us to the brim and there were too many courses to count. We remember Irish apples and then freshly made potato crisps made with a drill in front of our eyes. Then the nuthut gave us wholesome bakery treats of all sorts. Huge hunks of delicious cheese, loaded pork sausage rolls, steaming black pudding, smoked ham, huge pieces of fried fish and much more. We were full for HOURS. I highly recommend!

Weather you are a whiskey connoisseur or a whiskey novice limerick whiskey experience has you covered!! With a range of over 150 whiskeys and counting there is no shortage of surprises. Mike and James who not only are very knowledgeable but they give you a very feel good vibe educating through each whiskey of your choice and a good laugh in between. Another thing to note is the the fact that the whiskey tasting can be done in the comfort of "Peggy's parlour" in mother mac's pub or via zoom either way you will be in for a treat and can a very fun, relaxing and educational experience. 🙂👍
