- Brenster75Fundao, Portugal21 contributionsGreat day out at the park. We did the Octagon & Zipline package. The staff were very professional and friendly. They hooked us up to the harnesses and checked everyone was prepared and made us practice before we climbed on to the game. The Octagon was a workout trying to balance at a height. The zipline is great fun, I was nervous as I was due launch from drop off point, but the staff member was lovely, and she put me at ease. Once you get moving it is a thrill and over in a flash, but the views over the park as you move across it are beautiful. - Travel 36064 contributionsFriendly locals… Folks from California, Wexford, Cork, Arkansas, and I forget where else!! One of a kind experience! It’s been a bar since the 1500s!! Tiny bar, tiny patio, little music venue on second floor. - Mags KJapan3 contributionsWe had a fantastic time. We did two activities - the sports day and the cube. We were a group of 12 on the hen, both men & women, and of mixed fitness levels. We also had two pregnant ladies (T1 & T2) as part of the group. The activities suited everyone, we're all very competitive! Eddie was a fantastic host. Enjoyed the lock gate experience too, and all of Rachel’s historical information enriched it. We were greeted by Caroline and John who are very welcoming and their adorable spaniels : Conor gave us very informative detail on their Birds of Prey including an introduction to each of their personalities. Maggie the owl is a cutie, but our walk with Mavis the Harris Hawk was just fantastic - such impressive creatures and such a thrill having her land and take off from your own arm.
