Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Walter PBrantford, Canada85 contributionsWe started by walking around the grounds on the River Nore side then back towards the castle. So beautiful early in the morning. The amount of portraits was kind of mind blowing. The history of the families that lived there and are still descendants around today was wild. The Great Hall was amazing. A great tour and glimpse into the past.Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Donna PPhoenix, AZ181 contributionsThis house was owned by a wealthy merchant who had 11 children. We enjoyed walking through it and visualizing what it would have been like to live there. We especially loved the gardens. They were lovely. If you have time , you should visit.Written 16 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brenster75Fundao, Portugal21 contributionsGreat day out at the park. We did the Octagon & Zipline package. The staff were very professional and friendly. They hooked us up to the harnesses and checked everyone was prepared and made us practice before we climbed on to the game. The Octagon was a workout trying to balance at a height. The zipline is great fun, I was nervous as I was due launch from drop off point, but the staff member was lovely, and she put me at ease. Once you get moving it is a thrill and over in a flash, but the views over the park as you move across it are beautiful. I can't wait to go back.Written 2 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kerstin D1 contributionA very surprising visit, with immensely large trees from all over the world, planted 150 yrs ago. For instance you'll fins the largest sequioa tree in Europe. We were amazed by the Noble fir walk and the rhododendrons which were huge. We had no idea what to expect when we entered the garden and the arboretum, but it turned out to be a real secret garden, hidden in the hills above Inistioge. Well worth a visit, €5 entrance and you get to stroll around as long as you like and enjoy the results of the architectural mind of Lady Louisa Tighe from 150yrs agoWritten 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LandPCIreland’s Ancient East, Ireland163 contributionsFrom morning coffee and scones at the Mullicháin to all the sights along the way it was a splendid walk along the river and canal banks that make up the Barrow Way. For pure "away from it all" relaxation this is a little bit of Heaven. Graiguenamanagh was beautiful with its floral displays and Barrow views and the lovely Waterside Cafe to top it off. Whether you hike it or bike it its a lovely journey.Written 6 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bernadette P1 contributionHi, we went as a group of friends to Jurassic Newpark. 3 adults with 6 kids & we had the best day! We spent the whole day there & the kids didn't complain once of being bored or fed up. There was so much to do & see from bouncy castles to petting & feeding some of the animals to go karts, playground, sandpits, fairy & dinosaur trail walks, face painting & plenty more. We met a very pleasant member of staff named Paddy along our way who offered the kids a chance to pet the bunnies, guinea pigs & a cute little goat named nibbles. He also gave them some food to feed the llamas & Hyland cows. This really made the day more enjoyable for the kids as they are all animal lovers! So thank you Paddy. We brought a packed lunch which came in very handy as there was only drinks & ice cream to purchase from there. I would definitely recommend this place for a super fun day out.
Kind regards

The fact that it's up near the top of the street might mean it's easily missed but we were delighted to have found it. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and had a stroll around the lovely quirky garden and a good look at the plants for sale. It has wonderful staff who are part of the Camphill Community and that made it even more special for us.Written 25 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MrsWYN-RNorth Yorkshire, UK2,985 contributionsWe were wandering around Kilkenny and found this great ice cream parlour in the main street. Plenty of choice of ice cream, toppings and specialist desserts. Very generous portions and friendly pleasant staff. Definitely worth a stop for a treat.Written 21 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Louise2 contributionsWe thought the National Reptile Zoo. Lots of amazing creatures to look at. Expensive enough to go in-€48 for two adults & two kids, but good fun. Our kids got to touch a cornsnake, gecko & tortoise. The lady doing the show & tell used words like ‘pedantic’ when kids answered questions correctly, so difficult for them to understand her or know if they were right or wrong about the animal facts they had. But overall a very enjoyable experience.Written 24 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Laura F2 contributionsWe hosted a competition for over 200 competitors across showjumping, dressage and prix caprilli at Danville and could not recommend the facilities highly enough. There are beautiful showjumps, a fantastic surface in the top arena and wonderful indoor arena to escape the rain! Barbara was so accommodating and a massive help in organising the competition, she went above and beyond to ensure the competition went off without a hitch.Written 5 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
