Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s an eye-catching depiction of a Patron Saint of the city. Interesting to realise that the name Kilkenny originates from the Gaelic Cill Chainnigh, translated as Church of Cainnech, the latter known as Canice.

Sculptured in dramatic local limestone and now residing now far from the eponymous Churches, it honours a long-lived 6th century Irish missionary, priest and founder of monasteries.

An impressive powerful statue, dedicated to "Hurling", one of Ireland's native Gaelic games(dated back to the 5th Cent.). A nice contrast to the calmness of the river.

This small spot , lovely garden and statue, hidden behind the fence on Castlecomer New Rd. (entering adjacent to Eddie Rocket's), commemorates the big Famine , an important chapter of Irish history.
