- Michael D7 contributionsWhat a great trip. Small comfortable 16 seater coach. We stopped at all the "spots". Our guide "Dan" (the man with a van who has a plan) was fantastic.
The hotels we stayed at were fabulous. Sights were amazing.
If you're looking to do a tour of Ireland then Rabbies is the way to go. Make sure you ask for Dan as your guide. He is engaging and very knowledgeable. He is skilled at relating a considerable amount of information in a way that is entertaining and memorable. This tour gave me a comprehensive overview of Kilkenny and helped me maximize my time in this wonderful, historical city. the museum itself is also a must see. I highly recommend this tour and I hope you are lucky enough to have John as your guide. Quigg was absolutely excellent for the day to the Cliff of Moher and Galvay , others from others days were Closer to organisers and not great guides although they made some efforts,they were missing context and a little short on explaning their trips. - Tourist354380780629 contributionsVinnie, our tour guide and driver, was outstanding! He went above and beyond to share his Irish heritage and culture with us. It was so appreciated. I can not imagine a better tour. His love of the beauty of Ireland was infectious. My husband, Tim, and I saw things we would never have seen if not for Vinnie's skill as a tour guide. He took us to the most beautiful places like the Copper Coast and Wicklow Mountains. That man has a quick wit and pure knowledge of the best areas for photos. We were amazed at the sights and delighted with the lunch spots. This was truly the highlight of our trip. Thank you Vinnie for sharing such a love of Ireland with us!!! - Sharon F1 contributionWe just got back from an amazing trip to Ireland. Dave from Overland Tours was wonderful. We started in Dublin and proceeded to Killarney, Dingle, Doolin, and ended in Galway. This was a private arranged tour. We have been talking about how Overland made our trip. Between the driving, checking us into hotels that were booked thru Overland and all the little tours within the days we visited we learned so much. We would never have had the same experience if we had tried to do this on our own. We also saw the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny War Memorial and other points of interest in Kilkenny city.
