Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I would highly recommend this day trip with Collin’s Tours. Mike was our host and he went above and beyond to make our day enjoyable. He was so knowledgeable about the Wicklow Mountains, Glendalough and Irish history in general. His enthusiasm was contagious. Kilkenny is a lovely city. Very historic but also has lots of good restaurants and shopping. I also want to thank Graham in the office for such great service. It was an unforgettable experience!

The Wicklow Mountains are truly magnificent.
We had a great day visiting Glendalough, Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny Village.
It was a very cold day but Kieran and Jose made it very enjoyable. The sheep dog demonstration exceeded our expectations.
    We would recommend this tour

    This is a top-shelf company!

We had only 2 couples on our tour - and a lesser company would have cancelled our trip. Not Munsterbus. We had a wonderful time and our driver Tony Murphy was fantastic.

We had a good blend of historic sites and great scenic views. Tony stopped in some well-hidden places for photos and stretching our legs. He also gave us great advice about where to go for lunches and walking around each of the towns.

The hotels were all 4-Star (out of a possible 4 stars). All were very well appointed and all had a bar for evening relaxation. Tony pointed out area pubs that feature music too.

When you're in Kilkenny, be sure to visit the Hole in the Wall Pub. It's TINY, seating about 8 people, and it will take a bit of well-rewarded work to find it. The atmosphere is like something our of a novel - and to our absolute delight, a local stopped in and started playing Irish music on a "music box" (like a small accordion)!

We visited the Blarney Stone. If you're at all claustrophobic, do NOT go. Climbing up the castle steps involved some very small walkways with low overhead. It's worth noting that if you want to kiss the (unsanitized!!! Blarney Stone. you have to get on the ground, lay on your back and slide into position, looking up at the sky. Of course, there's a concession-type photographer, who will happily sell you a photo when you finally get to the bottom.

We opted instead for a photo, shot by our tour mate) of my wife and I having a kiss in front of the Blarney Stone. Close enough in my estimation.

Fair warning about the Cliffs of Moher. It's WINDY - my best guess is that it was close to hurricane force. I'd say 55 MPH+.

Our guide, Tony Murphy, came through once again. He told us there is a not-very-obvious golf-cart operation that takes people both up and back - and we took full advantage of that.

That operation is - of course - named "The Lifts of Moher" and to top it all off, there's a gift shop named "The Gifts of Moher".

We went the end of September, straddling into October. Dress warmly as the temperatures are starting to drop. Wear layers and you'll be fine.

Finally, I give both Tony Murphy and Munsterbus Tours my highest possible recommendation. They're a 12./10!

PS - please consider booking directly with Munsterbus. Their contact information is on the bus (see photos).

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The guide was informative and receptive to questions along the way. Her driving was excellent especially along the narrow winding roads on parts of our trip.

Rabbies Escape to the Southwest tour gives a fantastic overview of this part of Ireland. The days are pretty full but there’s enough time to explore. The beauty of the Rabbies tours is you can go at whatever pace suits you. Our driver guide Dan shared the history of Ireland, his beautiful singing voice and his passion for his homeland. Strongly recommend if you don’t have much time in Ireland and would like get out of Dublin and see the countryside. The coast is spectacular.

The tour guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. The Waterford tour was very interesting as we were shown the stpes from the beginmnming to the end of the process. The walking tour of Kilkenny was very informative, our walking guide had many stories to share with us.
The only downside I experiencedf were some of the other people on the tour not being punctual with the retune times to the bus.

The four days tour is well complete but guides vary greatly in Quality. Quigg was absolutely excellent for the day to the Cliff of Moher and Galvay , others from others days were Closer to organisers and not great guides although they made some efforts, they were missing context and a little short on explaning their trips. The day in Dublin is conceived as a DIY and was even missing an organiser, so not Bad but could certainly do better.....

Vinnie, our tour guide and driver, was outstanding! He went above and beyond to share his Irish heritage and culture with us. It was so appreciated. I can not imagine a better tour. His love of the beauty of Ireland was infectious. My husband, Tim, and I saw things we would never have seen if not for Vinnie's skill as a tour guide. He took us to the most beautiful places like the Copper Coast and Wicklow Mountains. That man has a quick wit and pure knowledge of the best areas for photos. We were amazed at the sights and delighted with the lunch spots. This was truly the highlight of our trip. Thank you Vinnie for sharing such a love of Ireland with us!!! This made our anniversary trip so very memorable!

Overall it was a decent tour. The first 5 days were great - good driver, funny stories. But then for days 5-7, we had to switch to a new group and change busses. It was miserable. The bus was too hot and because everyone had their seats, the newcomers got the worst. We were packed like sardines. The driver was nice and tried to accommodate. They did too much. It was NOT relaxing. We liked the idea of a small group that got to know each other and stayed consistent. The company did a great job in selecting B&Bs. This trip convinced us we are not the bus tours type. We need a rental car and our own pace.

I decided to take another trip to show my wife and daughter around Ireland while home and this was an incredible day trip, the driver John was entertaining, knowledgable and helpful. A great day that we all enjoyed!

Although it took awhile, we received our refund for a 6 day tour. I don’t believe they are dishonest or scammers. They were like all of us caught off guard when Covid happened and it could not be foreseen. I think like many business models they use future booking money to pay for expenses and salaries for current tours and when refunds were asked for there were no future tours to count on. I will most surely book with them again for a tour in 2022.
