This was the 1st beach we set foot on during our 2 week trip in Ireland. It reminded us of some of our South African beaches.

The beach as long & very wide , ideal for walks , a run or playing games as some families were doing.

There is sufficient parking at this blue flag beach in Tralee & the rest rooms are close by . A lovely beach for a day out or a few hours & about 13km from main town centre

Went along to panto that Castlegregory Amateur Dramatics group put on there. Great show and I love the theatre. It's a lovely size and always a pleasure to go to performances there.

Decent sized park in the heart of Tralee, lovely for a stroll. Beautiful arrangement of roses and a peaceful atmosphere. It's probably even nicer with the sun shining.

I always try to call in to St John's every time I am in Tralee, it is such a beautiful place and always so serene and calm.
Yesterdays visit was my first in about 16 months but the place has lost none of its charm and grandeur.
I love the stone walks and the beautiful cross beams in the roof. The stained glass is captivating too. I'm not sure what word to use about it, not cosy I suppose or even homely, but welcoming.

We drove along the causeway and looked out at the small but perfectly formed lighthouse. The location is beautiful and dramatic as the weather was not best and you could see the clouds rolling in from the Atlantic.

Swam with John in Fenit the past two years and couldn't recommend enough. Found learning the technique from him as a beginner very easy and not daunting. You will be comfortable in the water quite quickly. Michaela is so friendly and makes booking a breeze!

Trekked Wicklow Way 4 nights then traveled via train to Killarney and to trek Carrauntoohil via Coomloughra horseshoe and spent 3 more days trekking Kerry Way. Enjoyed working with IWHB to set it all up. Communication was easy and all arrangements were great. Trail notes, maps, info and interactive app made the self guided travel easy. Really enjoyed the guided trek with Maurice of Carrauntoohil via Coomloughra horseshoe. ( Note to others considering this - it makes for a long, strenuous day. Well worth it but challenging) Definitely consider IWHB if you are looking to have someone assist you with your travel arrangements. Highly recommend

Great pub experience! Staff was great and there was live music from 9:30 pm on. We were allowed to try some beers as we were not familiar with some of them

we did a 3 day tour with Anne and Dave. we explored haunted castles, visited local restaurants, had lovely scones and tea. we went on adventures and had the time of our lives. I would highly recommend Kerryguidedtours they were awesome. so warm and welcoming. Anne even did a little research into my family name for me. if I am ever lucky enough to go back to Ireland (which I hope I am) I will be calling kerryguidedtours for sure.

Stayed in Brandon Hotel which was lovely. We ate out and were warmly welcomed by all. Beautiful food and well catered for outdoor eating. Tralee is a lovely town - big enough to get around and not too big.

Myself and my wife visited the nadur spa on the 25th of October 2021.
When we arrived we were greated by the spa manager Gina who is bright and bubbly she then brought us threw where we were seated filled out our forms and temperature checked. We recieved our keys to our lockers where we found fresh robes towels and slippers inside them. She then introduced us to the hot tub outside where we relaxed and to our suprise we recieved a glass of champagne while we waited as Gina remembered we had our wedding here the previous month. our therapist called us for our treatments first off I had the hydrotherapy bath which I would highly recommend everything was prepared as you walked in and the therapist explains what to expect before it starts and fresh water accompanied on the side. My wife had the October special (coffee scrub) which she said was amazing. After the hydrotherapy bath another therapist arrived in and I was shown to another room for a head kneck and back massage. One of the best massages I have ever had very polite even recognised that parts of my kneck were tender without me telling her asked how I would like the massage soft/ medium etc. No interruptions peacefull and relaxing. Unfortunately I can't remember the girls name who done the massage. After the massage I was offered tea/ coffee or a fresh smoothie accompanied by some fresh fruit on the side and they lead you down to the relaxation room with beautifull views out into the garden. Overall I could not recommend this spa enough Gina and all of the team do an amazing job here and if you havnt been its a MUST, every staff member is extremely polite and they could never do enough to help. To top it off we recieved real homemade honey made by Gina and my wife recieved a complimentary lip balm 10/10 il have to go every week.

I brought my little girl horseriding as she always wanted to do this. she had a wonderful time and the girls there all made herself and her little sister so comfortable and unstressed. They had a fabulous lesson with Nicola, shes great fun and they loved her, and couldnt wait to go again. I discovered at this stage that there was a lady there called Orla who gives lessons for children with extra needs and i enquired about my little boy and if we could try it. He gets very anxious in unfamiliar environments , therefore i was worried would we even get him as far as the door, never mind the horse. Orla was brilliant and gave him all the time he needed and she is so patient and understanding of his needs and his need to do everything when he is ready and not to be rushed. He went on the horse and loved the lesson. She made sure he was safe the entire time while also giving him enough space to allow him some independence. thanks to all at Tralee Equestrian for the lovely welcome to horseriding to my children.
