This was the 1st beach we set foot on during our 2 week trip in Ireland. It reminded us of some of our South African beaches.

The beach as long & very wide , ideal for walks , a run or playing games as some families were doing.

There is sufficient parking at this blue flag beach in Tralee & the rest rooms are close by . A lovely beach for a day out or a few hours & about 13km from main town centre

Went along to panto that Castlegregory Amateur Dramatics group put on there. Great show and I love the theatre. It's a lovely size and always a pleasure to go to performances there.

The best local history museum I've visited, and I've visited a few. The history of County Kerry is well presented and informative. Starting from prehistory and coming into the present, the exhibits are well displayed (and the yellow arrows on the floor keep you on track). Don't miss the final exhibit in the basement, a recreation of Tralee in the Middle Ages.

I didn't have children with me, but there are several activities available for them involving the history exhibits. They should add an activity involving the use of the ogham alphabet.

Excellent tour. Staff so obliging and welcoming. Donal went out of his way to make the tour interesting and gave it his all (and he didn’t slag me for being from Cavan) Full of enthusiasm for what he does. Also the other two male staff. They simply couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommended

Decent sized park in the heart of Tralee, lovely for a stroll. Beautiful arrangement of roses and a peaceful atmosphere. It's probably even nicer with the sun shining.

We had a lovely morning in Tralee Wetlands with our 4 and 6 year old boys. We joined in a group who were tree planting. Our boys had a wonderful time planting holly trees and strawberry plants.

I used always come here when I was a child when it used be called “Toby World” and I always loved it 💓 I was invited to my cousins 6th birthday in The Playdium in September and I must say it is exactly as I remembered , cars , slides , ball pit, football area and a climbing section 🧗‍♀️ When i was younger there used be a disco room but that is now converted into a food area. A great little art area too for birthday party’s 🎈 At the birthday party’s you get sausages, chicken nuggets and chips always has been that way 😂 great birthday cake too 👍🏻 Highly recommend to everyone that has young children to bring them here ‼️

I always try to call in to St John's every time I am in Tralee, it is such a beautiful place and always so serene and calm.
Yesterdays visit was my first in about 16 months but the place has lost none of its charm and grandeur.
I love the stone walks and the beautiful cross beams in the roof. The stained glass is captivating too. I'm not sure what word to use about it, not cosy I suppose or even homely, but welcoming.

We drove along the causeway and looked out at the small but perfectly formed lighthouse. The location is beautiful and dramatic as the weather was not best and you could see the clouds rolling in from the Atlantic.

My boyfriend booked us a weekend getaway to Ballyseedy Castle as a surprise while we were on Holiday in Ireland. We had so much fun exploring the castle and surrounding woods.

I found the tourist office in Tralee extremely helpful. They offered great advice on what to do in the area and how to manage my time regarding drives, beaches and opening times for attractions. Very friendly staff.

Lovely little spot worth a detour to check out, we enjoy visiting when we're over and there's room to park up and get out for a look.

Swam with John in Fenit the past two years and couldn't recommend enough. Found learning the technique from him as a beginner very easy and not daunting. You will be comfortable in the water quite quickly. Michaela is so friendly and makes booking a breeze!

Trekked Wicklow Way 4 nights then traveled via train to Killarney and to trek Carrauntoohil via Coomloughra horseshoe and spent 3 more days trekking Kerry Way. Enjoyed working with IWHB to set it all up. Communication was easy and all arrangements were great. Trail notes, maps, info and interactive app made the self guided travel easy. Really enjoyed the guided trek with Maurice of Carrauntoohil via Coomloughra horseshoe. ( Note to others considering this - it makes for a long, strenuous day. Well worth it but challenging) Definitely consider IWHB if you are looking to have someone assist you with your travel arrangements. Highly recommend
