What travellers are saying
- Laney Van7 contributionsWent along to panto that Castlegregory Amateur Dramatics group put on there. Great show and I love the theatre. It's a lovely size and always a pleasure to go to performances there.Written 12 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sonia L1 contributionWe had a great day all in all. The waster was lovely, changing rooms were clean and staff were very helpful and friendlyWritten 19 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Donna D6 contributionsThe best local history museum I've visited, and I've visited a few. The history of County Kerry is well presented and informative. Starting from prehistory and coming into the present, the exhibits are well displayed (and the yellow arrows on the floor keep you on track). Don't miss the final exhibit in the basement, a recreation of Tralee in the Middle Ages.
I didn't have children with me, but there are several activities available for them involving the history exhibits. They should add an activity involving the use of the ogham alphabet.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - CarmelVirginia, Ireland2 contributionsExcellent tour. Staff so obliging and welcoming. Donal went out of his way to make the tour interesting and gave it his all (and he didn’t slag me for being from Cavan) Full of enthusiasm for what he does. Also the other two male staff. They simply couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommendedWritten 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tiana WardTralee, Ireland818 contributionsI used always come here when I was a child when it used be called “Toby World” and I always loved it 💓 I was invited to my cousins 6th birthday in The Playdium in September and I must say it is exactly as I remembered , cars , slides , ball pit, football area and a climbing section 🧗♀️ When i was younger there used be a disco room but that is now converted into a food area. A great little art area too for birthday party’s 🎈 At the birthday party’s you get sausages, chicken nuggets and chips always has been that way 😂 great birthday cake too 👍🏻 Highly recommend to everyone that has young children to bring them here ‼️Written 11 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland8,423 contributionsI always try to call in to St John's every time I am in Tralee, it is such a beautiful place and always so serene and calm.
Yesterdays visit was my first in about 16 months but the place has lost none of its charm and grandeur.
I love the stone walks and the beautiful cross beams in the roof. The stained glass is captivating too. I'm not sure what word to use about it, not cosy I suppose or even homely, but welcoming.

They offered great advice on what to do in the area and how to manage my time regarding drives, beaches and opening times for attractions. Very friendly staff.Written 11 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Maria NNewry, UK5 contributionsStayed in Brandon Hotel which was lovely. We ate out and were warmly welcomed by all. Beautiful food and well catered for outdoor eating. Tralee is a lovely town - big enough to get around and not too big.Written 15 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Aaronor1Tralee, Ireland21 contributionsMyself and my wife visited the nadur spa on the 25th of October 2021.
When we arrived we were greated by the spa manager Gina who is bright and bubbly she then brought us threw where we were seated filled out our forms and temperature checked. We recieved our keys to our lockers where we found fresh robes towels and slippers inside them. She then introduced us to the hot tub outside where we relaxed and to our suprise we recieved a glass of champagne while we waited as Gina remembered we had our wedding here the previous month. our therapist called us for our treatments first off I had the hydrotherapy bath which I would highly recommend everything was prepared as you walked in and the therapist explains what to expect before it starts and fresh water accompanied on the side. My wife had the October special (coffee scrub) which she said was amazing. After the hydrotherapy bath another therapist arrived in and I was shown to another room for a head kneck and back massage. One of the best massages I have ever had very polite even recognised that parts of my kneck were tender without me telling her asked how I would like the massage soft/ medium etc. No interruptions peacefull and relaxing. Unfortunately I can't remember the girls name who done the massage. After the massage I was offered tea/ coffee or a fresh smoothie accompanied by some fresh fruit on the side and they lead you down to the relaxation room with beautifull views out into the garden. Overall I could not recommend this spa enough Gina and all of the team do an amazing job here and if you havnt been its a MUST, every staff member is extremely polite and they could never do enough to help. To top it off we recieved real homemade honey made by Gina and my wife recieved a complimentary lip balm 10/10 il have to go every week.Written 26 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - JKBlue3 contributionsBrilliant place for a birthday party.
