Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Simone KKillarney, Ireland29 contributionsA Beautiful location right in the heart of the town of Killarney
Stunning views , peaceful , a on your door step retreat 🌻🏵🌿🌸Written 19 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We ended up paying 80 euros for a 45 minute ride, so we didn't get to see a lot.
The driver was friendly enough, but couldn't answer many questions about the place and it was difficult to believe some of what he said. For example he said he had been doing the rides for 70 years.Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The home is beautiful. Every room decorated magnificent. You got a good look at the servants quarters. Great to see if you are a fan of Downton Abbey. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. As pretty as any seen in Ireland. The are lots of walks from the house. We went to the Abbey and the Torc waterfall. Walk approximately 7 miles total. Basically spent most of the day here. Had tea and cake in the cafe. Great place.Written 13 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- nohassle1956gulf shores376 contributionsNice visit. Plenty of free parking. 4 euros a person to visit. The tours are guided only. It looks like they go every 1/2 hour. The tours lasts approximately 45 minutes. Don't know how that works but it did. The tour guide did a great job. Some of the quests wanted to take him to the pub to be a storyteller. The guesthouse is very interesting. It is 3 or 4 stories tall. Lot of history I've the 600 years of its existence. There are rest rooms and a food wagon onsite. Good hot chocolate.Written 14 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andrew WhitakerCork, Ireland14 contributionsBeautiful spot in Kerry, small hike to it but well worth it. Great for all ages and it doesn't take a lot of time to reach it. You can continue on and do a loop or even climb the mountain itself.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RonAMoreno Valley, CA10 contributionsEnjoyed our trip to Falconry Kerry with family and had a great experience with our guide who was very nice and full of knowledge. We got to experience 4 different beautiful birds and the history of falconry and each species. Recommend a stop here just a few miles north of Kilkenny.Written 18 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SteCullDublin, Ireland29 contributionsSuperb experience - great buzz, really good beers and high quality pizzas. If you don’t like pizza or beer probably not for you. Otherwise it’s a must! Plenty of space for a buggy. Staff super friendly and walking distance from town.Written 13 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - anniedwyer84Thurles, Tipperary125 contributionsTook some time to visit Killarney House & Gardens while on a visit to Killarney. It's a fantastic place with lots to see in the house. The gardens are spectacular. Managed to get up close to some Sika deer which was lovely to see as well.Written 20 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Holly_M_99Chichester, UK52 contributionsThis is a heck of a walk! It’s steep but the path is very clear and well-maintained the whole way to the very top. And it’s so worth the climb as the views all the way are beautiful, then you get 360 at the top, with various lakes in sight and a huge sense of achievement. We walked from the bottom, by Muckross Lake, to see the waterfall first then carried on up.

- messi guyDundalk, Ireland24 contributionsIt's a great hike even on a rainy day. I did one from Tahilla to Blackwater Bridge. - R McCormickMadison, WI53 contributionsDon't let the name fool you: this ALSO an excellent full-service restaurant! We went here with friends, and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience: craft cocktails, dinner, whiskey tasting flight, and dessert. And you can do this all from the comfort of your dining table! The whiskey tasting was not just a simple flight, but a carefully-picked selection of four related whiskeys to help you learn the subtle differences between them; it even came with a detailed fact sheet. The food was as delicious as it was beautiful.Written 15 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
