Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Heidi H1 contributionThank you again, for the most beautiful time with you. I thought we will do something different for my beloved husband's birthday, so we came to visit you at the Killarney Falconry. Meeting your beautiful birds and Patrick was soooo special. We all enjoyed it very much. My Mum, though a bit away in the wheelchair, was so delighted, because she could understand every word that Patrick said and she was so delighted to see how enthusiastic and one he is about his work and with it. Holding your birds on our arms has given us very special memories. And we are still giggling when we think, how we tried to communicate with your baby African owl. I hope you found his/her perfect name by now.
We can highly recommend the experience with you. Looking forward to coming back again in the future.

You can still walk around the lower parts taking in the breathtaking scenery. Rugged landscapes, rivers and imposing peaks. There is a car park at the foot of the mountain where you can park for €2.Written 31 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There was extreme winds and a snow blizzard at top. Low visibility near the top. Had no gloves but summited at 11:09am. Definitely intermediate-advanced level.Written 3 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Seamus C8 contributionsWe had a great hour here figuring our way through the clues as a family. First time ever to do an escape and it was not our last, we enjoyed it so much we came back the next day to do another room.
Good challenge but enough gentle nudges (hints) when we needed them. Two early teen daughters, myself and my wife all felt it was time really well spent and good value for €80. We talked about it beforehand and for ages afterwards and all agreed it was a great way to enjoy some rain time on the holiday.
Blackwater Valley seems like a slightly easier room for beginners.Written 3 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The bikes were great, but my wife had an issue, and we had to cancel on site.
Not only was the gentleman understanding, he also called up our boat tour to let them know we wouldn’t be bringing bikes, and rang up a taxi, so we’d actually make our boat in time.
We had a splendid day, and we owe it to O’Sullvan’s for making it work… even though we didn’t end up renting! Fantastic customer service.Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NorthStar022702899711 contributionWe used Killarney Tour & Taxi for transport from Dingle to the airport in Kerry for our family of 8. They were punctual and the pricing was reasonable. I don't hesitate to recommend them highly.Written 8 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tom MStettler3 contributionsMick gave us a day to remember. Started on the lake at the club. Beautifully crisp , sunny morning so still the fish weren't biting so we moved on to the river where Mick taught us some key lessons about fly casting. He fed us lunch, and I managed to catch 3 beautiful trout!
Thanks for the memory, Mick.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I booked this trip at the last minute and Hester was very responsive and quick to get me booked. William was very kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the area, history, and wildlife. This is a great alternative to a motorized boat tour.Written 1 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stay315843459944 contributionsAmazing, clean, great facilities. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Had a coffee and scone before the walk and a bowl of soup after. - Nóra RDublin, Ireland54 contributionsA memorable hike up Carrantouhil with John on August 7th - the weather fell apart after we got up to the top of the Devil‘s Ladder but John guided us expertly and safely up to the Summit in very gusty and wet conditions - and back down again via the Zig Zags. We were a family group of different ages and fitness levels and were thrilled that we achieved this together. 4 hours to ascend and 5 to come back down but we did it! Thank you John,Written 19 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
