Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The pizzas and drinks were so yummy. Very friendly staff. The waiter we had was very friendly & hilarious. A very good distance walk.

Beautiful and peaceful Cathedral. There were many parishioners there mid-day during the week. Worth a visit. Very serene.

the selection of whiskey is enormous and very good. Also the price is not that much for such rare examples. We also had dinner and it was very good, nice atmosphere and good service, as well from the bar as from the waitresses.

Annette is the guide through this interesting experience. Creameries used to be the social center of the village when all the farmers would bring their milk in each day and get caught up on the news. Of course, when everything became mechanized, this sense of community was lost. She walked us through the entire process with all the equipment in place. We saw a short video about the place then Annette challenged us to try to make our own butter and she explained a simple process. Then we were served a delightful lunch of a variety of kinds of cheese from the area, carmelized onion and milk tea. The meal was topped off with butte crust apple pie and ice cream. It is definitely worth a visit!

We were treated to a lovely concert in this beautiful, peaceful church by the men's choir, a soloist and a young boy playing a keyboard. An outstanding performance all around!

Beautifully presented photography in cool and calm surroundings. We came away wishing we could buy around 10 pictures. Unfortunately funds would not allow.

We came upon the Franciscan Friary during a self-guided walking tour of Killarney.

The Franciscan church was opened in 1867, the friary in 1879.

Nice and clean, plenty of bars etc although something that really let the place down was how the staff seemed afraid of guests. We came to see Joanne mcnally and there were a group of girls up on the balcony on the side who would not stop talking. I could see a lady ask them to have a word as it was very disrupting, people were shushing the girls and there were two blonde staff members just standing there not doing anything even though they could see it was bothersome. When the lady asked one to have a word the only thing the staff member did was walk closer to the girls and proceeded to stand there again. A security man came up eventually and I thought he would say something but no he like the other staff members just stood there. One of the disruptive guests even took a phone call. Nothing was said.

This is a must see and especially for anyone, young or old, who loves nature. The movies are extraordinary. Interactive exhibits are interesting, the photography is outstanding ... I'm running out of superlatives to describe this wonderful stop in Killarney.

Our driver who picked us up in Dublin told us about the show. And then the next day, he texted us to see if we wanted tickets! He purchased them for us and made a dinner reservation for us at a pub in the town center. Wow!! So nice!

The show was AMAZING! Both the dancers and musicians were incredibly talented. We were so glad that we had this experience. And we were so grateful that Kieran made all these arrangements for us including transportation to the show and back to our hotel.

If you are in the area, this is a MUST SEE!

Unfortunately half of the stores are empty but there are some great bargains to be had. There’s a large Paco store with very friendly staff and a 70% off sale. Leading Labels had a huge selection of ladies and men’s clothes with some amazing value. It’s a good place to visit if it’s raining.

As an experienced escape room player, this room did not disappoint! Me and my boyfriend played The Black Valley and we really enjoyed it. The puzzles in the room are classic, with some really great ideas! There wasn't a single puzzle I didn't enjoy!!
What really topped off the experience was our host Philip! He was so kind and very encouraging, and we had a lovely chat afterwards! He even helped us sus out the busses and trains!! I can't wait to try the other room, and I hope Philip will be our Gamemaster again!
