Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Sarah3 contributionsThe food in Killarney Golf & Fishing Club’s restaurant is just delicious. The restaurant is under new ownership and it exceeded my expectations. We ate there on a Thursday evening and although it was quiet there was a lovely relaxing atmosphere enhanced by the spectacular views. There is an extensive menu and it is reasonably priced along with substantial portions. I would recommend the chicken curry!Written 19 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Robert WOhio City, OH8 contributionsDuring a motorcycle tour of Ireland, we had an afternoon free in Killarney. Inexpensive taxi ride to the Ross Golf Course. When I explained I was an American wanting get in a few holes, I was put in with a regular Wednesday group. Rented a trolley and clubs and gave a few Euros for the daily “game”. Had a wonderful time with great Irish hospitality. I won a few Euros which went into Guinness after the round. I don’t even recall paying for the golf. Thank you Paddy, Seamus and several others including Stanley who drive me back to the hotel. Great golf with views of the mountains where I had ridden earlier with my motorcycle group. Fond memories!Written 17 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Upon my return home to the US I contacted the course and they responded to my request immediately. They located the missing club and went out of their way to have it returned to me.Written 15 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jwsRifle, CO3 contributionsSept 2022: Sullivan Travel arranged a week in Killarney for CO Golf Assoc. group and we (an aging couple) added on a week in the northwest of Ireland before the CGA group. The trip was delayed for 2 years due to COVID and still all arrangements, recommendations, management, and communication were perfect. Never been on a better organized trip.Written 14 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
