Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tour guide was amazing and gave us plenty of info on all of the locations and the ring of kerry itself, which I found made the tour more interesting. This along with the breathtaking views provided us with an amazing unforgettable experience!

I would recommend this private tour to anyone. Totally worth the extra money spent. It was one of the highlights of our 2-week honeymoon. Cass was the best and took us places the buses couldn't get to. She was very knowledgeable and lived in the area. I can't express enough how happy my wife and I are that we booked this trip. She picked us up straight from our hotel and was accommodating to every need we had. If you can find a way to put this into your travel budget, you will not be disappointed! My sister saw some videos and photos we had posted and immediately booked a trip with Cass for this spring!! This trip made the honeymoon of a lifetime much sweeter! Thank you, Cass!

I planned a 10-day trip for a 70-yo friend traveling solo. I had originally booked with another tour company, but something told me to switch to Deros Tours. I'm sooo happy i did. Altho the original date (a Sunday in Oct) had to be cancelled (too few people), Deros put him on a small coach for the following day. The meeting place was easy for him to find and the weather turned out to be better than the original tour date. I was thrilled to learn that his coach driver was the infamous Bat -- my friend said he was very informative with craic a-plenty! Since my friend was traveling without a car for the week, I was thrilled to find the easy access of Deros Tours so he could explore further than his Killarney base. He was in awe of the beautiful scenery throughout the Dingle Peninsula. To see my tough, old-school Philadelphia paisano holding a baby lamb in his Irish cap and Aran sweater was pure joy. I would absolutely recommend Deros Tours and hope to take one myself one day soon!

We do not typically. Ok tours but to see the Gap of Dunloe it seemed to make the most sense. We booked with Deross tours in Killarney and it was the perfect choice. They provided the transportation to Ross Castle where we got on the 8 passenger motor boat to cross the Lakes of Killarney. Then a stop for a bite at Lord Byron’s Cottage after which we chose to take A Jaunting cart through the Gap of Dunloe.. amazing beauty surrounded us. The jaunting cart went to Kate’s Cottage where we had transportation back to Killarney. It was a perfect day!

Enjoyed both trips with Dingle Peninsula first on the docket. We had rain and wind in the forecast both days, but the weather held out both days with the exception of the last hour of the Ring of Kerry. Beautiful weather with periods of sun on the first day and more overcast with rain at the end on the second day. The drivers/guides both did an excellent job driving and explaining the sites with lively stories sprinkled in. We had Batt the first day and he was more talkative out of the two. Dennis was an excellent guide and answered many questions us passengers had. Both kept it lively and entertaining. If you have to pick one of the 2 tours I'd recommend the Dingle Peninsula. Better views, beach side stops, and towns/villages you pass thru and stop at. The sheep dog demonstration on the Ring of Kerry is a highlight for reason. Amazing! Do them both if you can, it's definitely worth it.

I had such a great time on this ride. I showed horses competitively for the majority of my life, so I always brace myself for group rides being painfully boring for me, but they (brilliantly) split advanced riders off into a separate group, so I had an experience that was my speed (no pun intended). And the views were of course beautiful, as they are in all of Ireland :)

One thing to note: plan how you’ll get there ahead of time. Killarney’s city center is very small and walkable but the stable is of course a couple miles outside town, so it was my first time attempting to find a ride and I had underestimated just how limited the transportation options are in Killarney (none of the taxi or ride-share apps that operate in Ireland had ANY available drivers and there were no taxis near my hotel—I was fortunate enough that the stable employs awesome people who were willing to move my horseback ride to a later time when I wasn’t able to make it for my originally scheduled time).

Rory welcomed the 10 tourist folks on board and never stopped imparting historical knowledge of the lakes, mountains and people of the Killarney valley over 10k years. The landscape speaks for itself. The Gap trip is one of the iconic trips.

This was an amazing activity and I’m so glad we did it! Everyone in my group was a beginner rider and the women at the stable were so friendly and helpful and made us feel safe the entire time. This is a must do if you are in Killarney. I would absolutely book this again if/when I return. Thank you, ladies!!!

We enjoyed this experience so much! Our driver was so knowledgeable and it was a fun way to see more if the park since we were short on time.

First tip, don't try to drive it on your own. We hired a guide through Deros Coach Tours and had a fantastic time, enjoying spectacular views and learned so much. The Ring is 111 miles which without stopping would take 3.5 hours. It took us almost 6 hours and the time flew by. It's very narrow in some places so good to have someone with experience driving you. Plus you have the advantage of enjoying the ride. Highly recommend.

My mom and I took the tour from Killarney to Ross Castle, we ended up being the only 2 people in the jaunty. On this chilly November day, Paul was a great tour guide, friendly and informative. He offered blankets, answers to our many questions about Ireland and lots of laughs as we travelled through the park. It was convenient to our hotel in town but also to the city centre car park.

My second time leaning on the experienced guides of Kerry Climbing. On the previous it was mine and a daughters first climb with Piaras and Orlaith. This time it was Neil who guided three dads with three sons! Neil was excellent and really helped the kids along the way with keeping an eye on the older kids! The weather was not so kind but we all had a very enjoyable climb and memorable experience.

The next time I'm going to try O'Shea's Gully and call on Kerry Climbing to lead the way!

Highly recommend day out and very safe hands!!
