Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Alexis TelferIndianapolis, IN4 contributionsSuch a beautiful area. Visiting Ross Castle was an added benefit - we would have been happy just for the opportunity to spend time in natureWritten 28 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ArchaeobuffSydney, Australia2,033 contributionsPark across from the hotel and walk down to the river - it is easy. The scene is very idyllic and serene. There is a little park with a very interesting story or two to tell that add to the mystique of the place.Written 22 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain22,459 contributionsLakes of Killarney are 3 lakes located inside Killarney National Park, in Western Ireland. These 3 lakes are Upper Lake, Muckross Lake and Lough Leane and they are close to each other. You can visit all of them by car and stop in some lookouts to take wonderful photos. The Upper Lake only has nature, which is wonderful; on shore of Muckross Lake and Lough Leane, there are some interesting points like Muckross Castle&Gardens&Farms&Friary or the Ross Castle. Also, near here you can also see the Torc Waterfall. Wonderful place to come with children or friends to stay all day!Written 28 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
