Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family of 5- 2 adults, children 22, 19 & 17, really enjoyed this experience. The bus picked us up right at our inn, Old Weir Lodge, and took us to the cottage where we chose a jaunty to take us the 7 miles to the boat launch. Since there were 5 of us, we had 4 in the carriage (very tight fit for us big Americans :)) and our son was a great sport and rode the horse. We had to pay $25 each cash. The scenery was amazing and we were really lucky to have no rain. We did have to get off the carriage and walk up some steep parts. At the end of the horse ride is the Lord’s cottage and we purchased some soup and sandwiches. Cash only. We then took the boat through the different lakes and channels while our guide is told us different details about the area. Our guide was very funny and kept us entertained for the hour and a half. We got to Ross Castle and chose to tour it but it was not included. The weather held off so it was a beautiful day.

Highly recommend taking a Jaunting Car trip in Killarney National Park, thoroughly enjoyable, my driver John gave an interesting account of historical facts, stopping often at beauty spots for me to take photographs, nothing was too much trouble. Thank You to John & his horse Suzy.

We very much enjoyed this tour! The Gap of Dunloe was gorgeous and the highlight of our time in Ireland. Our jaunting cart driver Pat (and his son Liam) were wonderful, informative, helpful, and genuinely kind people. Our boat tour guide was knowledgable and the boat trip was peaceful. We would do this trip again!

We really enjoyed this experience, a group of 9 of us turned up on the wrong day but this was no problem to our tour guide Charlie he brought us out anyway. Charlie is full of knowledge of the all the history and a really friendly man. Overall a brilliant experience

We had a wonderful ride with Mike to the island. It was drizzling but he made sure we stayed dry. He told us about the history and gave us tips in our travels in Killarney. The island was peaceful and quiet, and we saw a herd of dear. We could have spent an entire day there.

Ireland was magical and breathtaking! This tour was full of fantastic surprises each day. The charming sheep farm visit, biking around ancient Innis sheer (Aran Islands), traditional Irish music at Gus O'Connor's, and enjoying the lively port cities of Dingle and Kinsale, there was something new to discover each day. From selecting the itinerary and booking with Sean, to then touring Ireland with the most knowledgeable and BEST tour guide ever, Anthony, it was a stress-free and memorable family vacation, without any issues at any of our B&Bs or hotels, or our selected activities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of wild Ireland. We would definitely recommend this company. We upgraded to B&B’s for our nightly accommodations and were very pleased with them. This can be a very active tour, if you do desire. Many opportunities for long and short hikes. Our guide Sean was fantastic. Shared many facts about Ireland and many times had the whole laughing. We would definitely travel with Irish Experience Tours again. Ireland and it’s people are beautiful!

We started at Ross Castle to Lord Brandon's Cottage and had a great time on the boat. Our driver had so many interesting storys to tell and things to point out. Couldn't have asked for a better guide, especially since they are all locals.

The Irish spirit of fun and enjoyment kicked off our trip right from the first pick up.
Our host Sean was informative, funny and a confident travel guide throughout 80% of the trip with Noel and Collin finishing our safe voyage.

The accommodation and breakfasts were top notch with a personal touch. The trip includes entry to many of the must see attractions along the route like the Cliffs of Moher and Giant’s Causeway.

The transportation was roomy and comfortable. Best of all no driving!!

Very much recommended for the small group touring option!

The tour bus collected us from our caravan site in Killarney in early May and in perfect weather, so our report may be biased as the whole day is open air. We were bussed to the start point of a 7 mile/10 km unaccompanied walk. We were told to allow 2 to 3 hours and it took us a full 3 hours, leaving no time for a lunch break before the 1.5 hour boat trip due to leave at 2pm. The alternative to the walk is to pay 25 euros per head to ride through the pass by pony and trap. Not being the youngest or fittest in the group we struggled towards the end of the walk, but enjoyed the experience. The boat trip back through lakes and rivers was a real delight. Recommended.
NOTE: Despite what some may say and the efforts of the jaunting drivers to convince you that you can't drive through the gap road, you can - but as walkers we found the traffic tiresome and intrusive on the wonderful scenery. It is high time that the authorities used some legislative muscle to ban traffic.

Our tour was incredible. We got to see and stay in the best little towns, Dingle, Westport, Doolin, Clifton and Killarney. We never felt rushed and were able to walk through the towns to immerse in the community. We were able to go eat at many quaint pubs and listen to Irish music in the pubs. Our tour guide Anthony was incredible. Very knowledgeable about a lot of different areas. He answered all of our questions and was really fun to get to know and to enjoy the trip with. Our small group also helped make this tour great. Really interesting people that all got along and made the trip better for one another. Recommend this tour group for an authentic feel of Ireland and what their beautiful country has to offer.
