Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very photogenic castle in Killarney National Park. I highly recommend the boat tours that depart from the area! There are restrictions and a cute little cafe outside the castle. Great place to grab a coffee and take a little rest during your time in the park.

My wife and I stayed at the Lake Hotel during our Ireland tour. Doing so, one cannot miss these small castle ruins on the Muckross Lake. While very small and nothing amazing, it is a pristine place to imagine being a lord in a far away time. You can tour the ruins in less than a half hour, but you must do them if a guest at the hotel. You can also take some amazing pictures from the ruins. I think it is definitely worth your time.

Hidden away near Aghadoe Heights Hotel, this ruin of Norman castle is easily accessable, you can climb up one level and is in perfect condition
