Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was so fun! After seeing the Muckross House & Gardens it was really educational to see how more normal people - farmers, laborers, craftsmen, teachers - lived. I also have wanted to pet a sheep since we arrived in Ireland. Not because we don’t have them at home in the states, we do, but they are EVERYWHERE here and so stinking cute. So getting a little petting zoo of farm animals here was really fun. All of the tour guides were so knowledgeable and friendly.

    I highly recommend this!

Although I usually find the Trip Advisor contributors to be a little harsh, I kinda have to agree somewhat with "loveistanbu"s review in August. It was disappointing and poorly maintained. It is advertised as a 4 star property and I just cannot see how. I thought my sons would love the pet farm but it was so poorly maintained it made us sad. The puppies looked as though the weren't feed or pen cleaned in days. The animals were scattered throughout the expansive front yard and it was raining so hard that we couldn't even see them. They advertised a wallaby and we never saw him/her. The family room that (4) of us shared was dated and small. The tv was only viewable from 1/2 of the room. The bathroom was extremely small and although they knew 4 of us were checking in we were given 2 towels. At night the heat came on so high we were sweating. We attempted to open the windows but since there were no screen bugs flew in so we quickly closed the windows and suffered through it. There was a man that was coughing all night so hard I thought he caught pneumonia in the rain the day before. There was no Wi-Fi at all. We were so far from the beaten path we had to go into Main St Killarney for WiFi. The only time we saw the owner was at breakfast.
