Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wife and I wanted to see the Ring of Kerry. It was suggested from our host to take the tour bus as the drive can be grueling and tiresome. We took her advice and were not disappointed. Our driver Brian an amazing driver full of fun and history facts was so much fun. I would definitely do this again. In fact the tour feom dublin to giants causeway is on our itinerary. Thank you Brian and PaddyWagon for such a wonderful time.

Really cool way to see the park. Damien was super great! Very knowledgeable about the park and all the animals. Gave us some great tips on the city as well. 10/10

John was our tour guide and was great! He was very knowledgeable and fun to have. Be prepared for a lot of driving, but the small bus/van was very comfortable and had tables.

Booking: We booked online a little more than 2 weeks in advance. Was easy to prepare for trip and find the bus. Unfortunately the check-in process at the bus was frustrating -- we arrived at the time specified but stood in a line outside the bus for about 25 minutes before the driver showed up. We didn't realize there were passengers who had come from Cork in the morning who were on a horse and carriage tour in Killarney National Park and we had to wait for them to return. They also had saved all their seats on the bus so there was some confusion trying to get seats for us and with our respective travel partners, which made me anxious. The driver was patient and took charge and was able to figure it all out to our satisfaction but we were nearly an hour late leaving Killarney and that was a disappointing start to the day. If this happens to you, be patient, sip your coffee, it's just a blip in a fantastic day!

Itinerary: We enjoyed all of the stops and the context provided by John. Every vista on this trip is breathtaking. If I had to do again would have skipped entrance to bog village and went straight for the whiskey coffees.

Lunch: Nice stop in Waterville with plenty of time to order from a hot buffet and sit and eat, plus a short stroll. Made-to-order options were also available.

Bus: The bus is comfortable, the windows are tall so you can see well on both sides no matter which seat you are in. I am prone to motion sickness and had no trouble at all (without drugs). Felt safe leaving backpack on bus during hop-off stops, and eating snacks - noting driver insists no hot foods or smelly foods please. There are bathrooms at the Kerry bog village, Waterville, Snead and the waterfall (convenient throughout the day)

Driver: John was a good driver and articulate tour guide. He's very funny and gets the crowd involved which I really enjoyed.

Price: Price is totally fair for the memorable day you will have in comfort and ease. Irish coffees, entrance to the Kerry Bog Village, lunch, and ice cream are not included. Bring cash to tip your driver at the end.

My daughter, grandson and I spent the day with Ray on a private Dingle Peninsula tour. What an amazing day. Ray knew the area and the history which made the experience special. We saw all the sites that we anticipated and my daughter and grandson had time to enjoy the aquarium in Dingle. Ray's flexibility was very welcome. Besides the special time at the aquarium the stop to feed lambs was special. The vehicle was comfortable and clean and the Slea Head drive was absolutely beautiful. I can't recommend this company enough. Thanks for a great day.

We had the most amazing time haunting with our guide, Damien! We saw all sorts of wildlife, learned about the regions history and he even took some wonderful family pictures for us. Even with a storm coming, it was a comfortable, gorgeous experience that we would highly recommend if you’re in the area. We would definitely do it again!

Joe was a wonderful tour guide!! I spent two days with him; we traveled around the Ring of Kerry and then drove up to the Dingle Peninsula. We saw all the highlights and hidden gems in two days. He looked ahead at the weather and planned events for each day to maximize my experience based on expected visibility/ rain. He suggested more ideas based on my interests and didn’t take it personally if I chose not to do one of his suggestions, which is exactly what I want! He gave lots of ideas and let me customize my trip.

Joe is incredibly kind, easy to get along with, and very perceptive. I traveled alone as a young(ish) woman and was so glad that I chose Joe to show me around!

This was a fantastic tour of Skellig Ring and several other stops along the Ring of Kerry. Our tour guide, Colm, was wonderful. So knowledgeable and friendly. We felt right at home. What an amazing way to spend a day! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to enjoy the sights the Ring of Kerry has to offer.

Such a beautiful way to visit Killarney National Park. I highly recommend. Our driver was very kind and knowledgeable and his horse Joey was a sweetheart with a big personality. The carriage was covered so even if it’s a rainy day this is a great experience. The carriage is roomy enough for a couple or a whole family.

Absolutely recommend this bike rental. Situated at the entrance of the national park, it's a brilliant place to kick off the exploration. The bikes worked a treat, with lots of safe places to lock them along the way to explore on foot (especially the abbey and the waterfall)! We learnt some great history from these guys before we went adventuring which helped put some historical context on the beauty of the national park. A wonderful day out!

I have heard so much about the beautiful scenery of Dingle and I have decided to travel to Cork and take the Dingle Tour with Paddywagon Tours on the 2d of November. The tour included a visit to Killarney, Inch Beach, Slea Head Drive and the village of Dingle. It was an amazing trip because we got to see the Dingle peninsular and the Wild Atlantic an hour before a storm hit the peninsular. The scenery was both beautiful and dramatic. I only regret that we did not have enough time to explore and enjoy the scenery. May be because our tour guide Paudy was a bit in a hurry to show us everything and drive away before the weather got any worse. We had only about 15 minutes at the Inch Beach and about 20-25 minutes at the Slea Head Drive.

Mary was exceptionally knowledgeable as she grew up in the area so she's seen history unfold here. The personal touch and stories of her interaction with some of the local resident contemporaries makes history come alive. She stayed ahead of the buses and crowds and showed us the corners and hidden gems!! Very relaxing and personal - Great day and best way to see so much - thank you Mary

We booked a private Ring of Kerry tour through Viator with Taxi Killarney providing the driver/tour guide. Although more costly, it was a wonderful departure from the big bus tours that we have taken in the past. Christy was a fantastic guide for the day. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and fun to talk to. We learned a lot about the area and the Irish culture and history. This was a very flexible way to experience the Ring of Kerry. The Kerry Bog Village was a fun, historical representation of how people lived in the old days. On the way back to Killarney we took a different route and experienced beautiful vistas . Christy was very accommodating and allowed us to spend the time needed at all sites including the Cliffs of Kerry. A wonderful day. Highly recommend Christy and Taxi Killarney.

Our tour of the Ring of Kerry was a lot of fun. We drove the whole loop in comfort and Derry provided us with colorful history and commentary about the towns on the ring. I'd recommend this tour just because I didn't have to drive the narrow, winding roads, but it was very enjoyable, too.
