Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

None stop laughter. Had a great night out in a very intimate setting.. The MC Cornelius was just brilliant. Tourist and locals having a absolute ball, easy to see why it's number one in Killarney.

The food was incredible (try the monkfish) and the staff were very welcoming. The Guinness was very reasonably priced at 4.80 a pint.

Great pints and music! This is a gem of pub in the centre of Killarney town. Really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere was very chilled. Staff friendly but could definitely see they were under pressure like most places, so fair play guys.

Restaurants in Killarney all packed out and there was a waiting time at all of them. Had been by Murphy’s earlier for a beer and decided to check out their dinner menu. They had a half dozen TVs in a relatively small restaurant and they were all tuned in to the Championship game of Gaelic Football, which the home-town team won. Game 70 minutes long with not commercial breaks. What a novel idea. We had an order of Fried Hake, which came with fries and a small salad. Very good and enough for both of us to share.

We found this Lord of the rings themed bar by accident while preparing for our hike through Kerry. We allready had breakfast. But we did not yet had second breakfast. So we went in and had another one. (Vegan irish breakfast and avocado toast). Very nice. We returned later for dinner and a pint

This bar has great traditional Irish music from 9 PM. The night we were there, the band consisted of a guitarist/singer, fiddle, accordeon (box), banjo and percussion. They were very good and played many traditional Irish tunes. Drinks were reasonably priced and the bartender was busy but quick and efficient. We sat by the open fire with friends and hand a great night. Great craic as the Irish would say. (craic = fun)

Really enjoyed this pub on our recent stay in Beaufort. In fact we liked it so much, we went back 3 nights in a row! The food was excellent, very tasty and reasonably priced. They were able to accommodate my celiac son. Well done chef John. Tom the owner is very friendly and worked very hard to serve us very well. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely place for lunch on a cold day. Lots of character, with locals chatting at the bar. We had a yummy chowder and a nice sandwich, tea, etc. Friendly service.

Genuinely great sports pub. The majority of clientele are local and the barmen know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

We started our day at the gap at Kate Kearney 's place. What a wonderful pub; the food and drinks are great, the staff is wonderful and the weather was just beautiful. We sat outside and got ready for our little carriage ride up into the gap. This is one of the nicest spots in the country! You must stop here and spend an afternoon. Kate's is a great place.

Beautiful food for our family stay, everything we needed was accommodated for! Brillant Service! The 12 inch pizza was unreal, which you add up to 3 toppings for €14.50 which I feel was great value. Waffle with Oreo ice cream was to die for!!

Really enjoyable experience. Great venue for socialising and watching horse racing as well as many other sports on several TV's. Comfortable surroundings with reasonably pleasant staff. Possibly one of the best pints of Guinness in Killarney. Toilets, while generally clean could do with a refurbishment in line with the rest of the otherwise nicely decorated bar. Good value experience.

The best coffee in Co Kerry if not Munster!
My name is Jack and I am a coffee addict!
I know the best coffee shops in Dublin and London but this little place in the centre of Killarney ( they have a drive through outside Killarney too) serves the best coffee I have ever tasted. The variety and blends are simply first class. The service is excellent. I wish the owner and company every success for the future, watch this company grow and grow, potentially franchise material in the years ahead. In the meantime keep the addicts happy!
    Well done.
