We brought the whole family in from Canada, the US, and Dublin to see the cliffs and had the most wonderful time. Eve and Krishna were a fantastic team and made the trip special, informative, and safe for us all. We had plenty of time to shop and eat and explore at the stops, and a good mix of napping, stories, and Irish music on the bus. If you’re choosing between tours, PICK THIS ONE.
Walking tour of Galway was a great way to learn about the city and history of Galway.
Sean was a great tour guide and explaining the history of the city itself, the families that started the city and the pride of the Irish people when JFK came to visit.
Awesome trip with my fiancé! The driver was super informative so we learned a lot on the bus. Had a couple quick, good meals in the places we stopped. We chose to do an awesome hike in the national park.
Weather was absolutely beautiful, even our guide Seán was amazed. Seán also kept us on time and was very entertaining. Fionn was an excellent driver who's driving skills were amazing. We never felt rushed and I feel like we we were given all the time we needed to see everything.
Our guide, Mike, made the experience unforgettable. The Abbey was closed due to Storm Eowyn. Most Villages had no power or water. He still made sure we saw everything we wanted, charmed us with his intense knowledge and witty dialogue, and answered all our questions enthusiastically. His knowledge is incredible, and he was the difference that made the trip truly unforgettable. The park was beautiful and the hike up the mountain was intense. It’s a lot of stone stairs so wear grippy shoes. The wind will nearly knock you over but very worth it.
Our guide Michael regaled us with stories of the small towns we passed through as he expertly drove us from Galway to Connemara National Park. We stopped at various spots along this scenic day trip for pictures. Stopping in one quaint tiny town for a bathroom visit and shop local. This has been the highlight of my trip to Ireland!
We really enjoyed the cruise and the commentary from Patrick. He was so knowledgeable about the area and its history. We bought a copy of the book that he wrote and this was a great souvenir and source of more information about the Lough and local people. We chatted to Patrick after the cruise and discovered that the boat was originally from Paignton in Devon, close to where we live!
We had a great experience on our tour with Trevor! He was so accommodating from pickup to dropping us off at the train at the end. We learned so many facts about each stop and throughout the day while driving, as he was friendly and answered questions along the way. This is what you hope for in a private tour and he exceeded the expectations. He took a picture of us at each stop without us even thinking to ask, and it is in those little moments that really mean a lot. We highly recommend Trevor and this experience to all visiting Ireland!
Wonderful tour of the beautiful Connemara countryside and the Kylemore Abbey. Mike, our driver, was friendly and very knowledgeable and shared the history of the areas we drove through. We even got a fun keepsake! Kylemore Abbey is breathtaking and the walled gardens are worth the visit. Lots of photo op moments along the tour, too. Highly recommend this experience.
A great tour with Phil and Shamus. Awesome itinerary busy but we’ll paced. So many must see locations. It’s a full loop around Galway that packs in so much. We took the buggy ride on the island which was also good.
Starting with the positive - the tour itself, the stops and scenery are gorgeous! However, there was a lot of dosorganization and confusion. At the initial stop, we were told to hop on a bus to the Cliffs, which we quickly realized was doing a one day tour, instead of 2-day trip which we signed up for. Its itinerary was also different than it was stated in our booking. Our driver seemed confused that we were advised to get on the said bus. He resolved the issue and we got on another bus later in the day, but it was quite stressful and the whole issue could be avoided if they double checked the destinations or name lists. After that though the trip with our second driver, Stephen, was lovely and made up for the trouble.
We had an amazing time. Weather was perfect. Blue skies. Cliffs of Moher is a must see & Galway is the cutest little stop for lunch and a bit of shopping. Gerry was excellent . Highly recommend him.
