Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- LisaGW2San Francisco, CA6 contributionsWhat a fun way to see Galway- learn some history and enjoy the local flavor/story telling. - Jacki MacLitchfield Park, AZ63 contributionsMust do! The waters of Mannin Bay were so clear and the sea life was beautiful. We were a group of 4 and opted to do double kayaks instead of single which worked great. All of the gear was provided except for water shoes but they did have some there that others have left that you could use. Make sure to wear something light to fit properly under your wet suit. I also brought a waterproof pouch for my phone to take pictures. The guide gave great instructions prior to going out and, although we were all experienced in kayaking, the level needed for the journey was not too challenging. Would recommend for families.Written 29 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ciaran J1 contributionWe had an amazing day for our friends stag weekend.getting picked up for Westport at a time that suited us as headed out to some amazing pubs with great views. The views on the whole were great. Our driver John and guide mick couldn’t have been better and really accommodated us . I’d definitely recommend this to anyone.

Grainne's knowledge about Irish food, whisky, beer, history and local custom was vast, the craic was also great with that signature Irish humour giving the extra special touch. It's obvious she loves this city and wants everyone visiting to love it too, and to get the most out of their trip. I can't think of a better way to get to know the city with the added bonus of delicious food, local bears and Irish whiskey. The itinerary and locations have also obviously been hand picked and we were welcomed by friendly, efficient staff at every venue.
We were so glad we did this on our first day because we left with so much more knowledge about where to go and what to do, and even invaluable tips on how best to integrate with the locals in a talking bar, vs a music bar etc etc. We went on to have a fantastic evening as a direct result of the hints and tips picked up in the tour.
Can't recommend highly enough! Book it!Written 29 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. John is amazing, all the places he took us to we actually went back and visited later. You won’t regret booking a tour with himWritten 9 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BenNewport, UK37 contributionsThis place is like the tardis. The further you walk in the larger it becomes! Popped in for a drink on the way into town, live music playing at the entrance. We bc went out the back into an open space with green walls and a really good mix of places as a group to hang out. Definitely worth dropping in if in town.Written 28 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Aoife H1 contributionAs a person who is not hugely experienced in whiskey, I did this tour to learn more about the different types and I loved every minute of it. I learn how whiskeys are made, their history in Ireland and how to taste all the flavours.
Our guide was amazing, so knowledgeable and could answer all the questions I had.
It was such a good experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone, whether you love whiskey or don't know anything at all about it!Written 26 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
