Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent background. Andrew was a great guide though he seemed a bit consumed by the time. Interesting to see and experience the imprisonment and learn more about the uprisings in Ireland

This was a fun afternoon, Saul took us on a trip through Ireland from past to present and was so theatrical it was so fun. I would recommend this if you have an hour to spare in your day, especially to see all the memorable things that are in the museum, including the U2 floor, with all things to do with U2.

This was my second time to the Storehouse, but this was so much fun with friends. We were able to do the Stoutie and Academy tickets. Thus was so fun. Got to drink the Guiness pints as well. A definite if you are in Dublin

My husband and I decided to visit this museum on a whim, and were really impressed with the tour guides, well-designed themed rooms from various historical periods, and the educational whiskey tasting at the end. This was definitely worth the price of the ticket!

Since we have visited many distilleries, we opted for the Secret Tasting Room experience, so we could cut-to-the-chase and sample fine whiskey. John Jameson's "office" was the perfect setting, and our Scottish (!!) brand ambassador/guide was entertaining and well-informed. The 4 whiskeys we sampled were outstanding. Don't leave without sampling at least one type of Old Fashioned at the bar.

A relaxing walk through tree canopied walkways, which are beautiful, and paths along the lake in the heart of Dublin. Quite refreshing! They also have flower gardens.

Excellent and informative tour. Neve was our guide and she was so sweet and patient with answering questions. Highly recommend climbing the tower as well for a great view of the cemetery and Dublin, as well as viewing the indoor exhibit.

Trinity College’s Library and the Book of Kells were on my must-see list. Definitely book tickets in advance, as they sell out quickly. The Book of Kells exhibit is remarkable, especially in terms of how the book has been preserved for so many years. But the true highlight for me was the long room — an ultimate book lovers’ paradise. They’re currently in the process of renovating, so you’ll see some empty shelf sections, juxtaposed with plenty still packed with books. It’s a beautiful sight to behold.

I was initially skeptical about spending my time in a museum, but this exhibit gave me a much greater appreciation and in depth understanding of my experience in Ireland

This visit exceeded my expectations by a long way. Our guide Bryan was fun, very knowledgable and easy to engage with. As music lovers it was fascinating for us to see where many of the musicians, alive and dead, practiced and recorded their music, particularly a couple of our favourites- Thin Lizzy and Rory Gallagher. It was great to be able to hear young musicians still practicing in a couple of rooms as our group was led around.

The tour by a current student was outstanding. He gave a good history of the school, its building and current educational role. We was some very interesting architecture and stories of how the campus has evolved. We are then left at the entrance to the Book of Kells which was included in the tour. Book of Kells and the Long Library are a must but see the library this year as its closing for 5 years for a modernization of the fire protection system in response to the Notre Dame Cathedral fire in Paris.

This is a small-ish museum, but well worth a visit. A wonderful collection of gold-work and good explanation of the hordes. The bog people were very interesting and also respectfully displayed. A very nice viking exhibit as well, plus great religious artifacts.

It was a very good tour, but our guide was rushing, talking very well but very fast. It was as if we were on a tight schedule. Learned a lot of whiskey and Irish history. They don’t yet have older whiskey, but the whiskeys they had were good.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, this tour should be at the top of your list for things to do in Dublin.

Our guide, Gillian, demonstrated her vast knowledge of the perils of tenement life as she walked us through the once magnificent building of 14 Henrietta St.

What I loved most about the tour was hearing Gillian's personal connection to the tenements- she has a real gift for storytelling and the group hung on her every word.

The tour is both buggy-friendly & wheelchair accessible!

Extra special thank you to Gillian for her patience, kindness and consideration for two very young people on the tour; it meant so much.

I would 100% do this tour again and recommend it to everyone as a must-do for Dublin!
