Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow. Our guide was Adam. I don't think in all the tours I've been on over many years that I've came across someone so passionate, knowledgeable and engaging. He had us all hooked from the get go. He explained the importance of the gaol, the historical figures and the unfortunate execution side very well and humbly. An absolute got to visit place.

Note on street parking if you're driving, needs a machine ticket but not expensive.

If I had any criticism it would be trying to secure the tickets as we were visiting from Scotland and I understand they're trying to make it fair as it's so popular, but a lovely staff member helped me book tickets.

We went there today and had a tour with Pauline... First of all lemme say a big thanks for her very lovely and welcoming behavior.
It was not only a joy listening to her and getting that quick crash course through Dublin history, but her witty and funny way of shaping the tour was really one of a kind.
While we just headed here yesterday, I'd say part of us would stay here - not only for the various impressions we gained along the city, but as well for that brief insight we received.
So lot's of love for her and the museum as well ;)
Special thanks from the musician part of myself for that final performance of "Parting Glass" <3

Nice tour of a faux factory and history of Guinness. Worth the ticket. Just don't get the engraved Guinness glass. The font size is incredibly small and the engraving is barely visible as it's like a hair thin. Not worth the price at all!

We had Amy as our instructor for the cocktail making class. She made the class so fun and personable. We had a wonderful experience with her and would highly recommend.

Fantastic museum with a fantastic guide. Would reccomend to any true music fan visiting the city. Places that celebrate music like this are hard to find these days. A must see.

Niall Oman led our tour today, a passionate and proud Dubliner whose knowledge of and enthusiasm for the cemetery was inspiring. I couldn't recommend it more highly, an educational and entertaining experience, well done Niall 👏

On our first day in Dublin, after we arrived, we walked to this park from our hotel. The park was large and shady. There were many beautiful flowers to look at in the park. There was a play area for children. We saw some swans and many seagulls enjoying the lake. The walk would be good for people who are handicapped because it is paved.

This is a fantastic museum! Until you delve into the sad and tragic history of Ireland, you do not appreciate why so many of their people had to leave. It was fun to move through each area and get your passport stamped - what a clever idea. We were fortunate to be there when it was not crowded - made moving at your own pace possible. It's not all tragic; there are areas about famous Irish people around the world and all the Irish customs and music that many of us know. You can see why this museum has won awards. Bravo!

Lily was incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable in the history of Trinity College. She was also incredibly enthusiastic, and you could clearly see how much she adores carrying out her studies there. We found the history around the scholars particularly fascinating and the story of the murder in the college was also very intriguing. Information about the religious conflicts and restrictions at Trinity were quite mind-boggling, and we would like to learn more about it following on from the tour. We sadly didn't get to see the Bool of Kells, but this was merely due to us not purchasing the ticket that included this! Though we sadly missed that, the tour was extremely worthwhile and enjoyable and the sun shone for us, it was a wonderful addition to our trip to Dublin. A special thank you to Lily for making it so enjoyable too.

Bought tickets for the only option available a couple of weeks ahead, the book of Kells experience.

Was a short audio guided tour, if you are short on data, download the trinity app first.

Only one page of the book is available, but the long room library is fantastic.

Unable to re enter the first gift store, but there is a second one.

The digital experience is good, so long as you do not suffer from motion sickness. Only a couple of eight minute visuals so nothing fantastic and really drops a star.

Not a fantastic value trip, but Pearch cafe is worth a stop for a drink.

Brilliant from start to finish, Brian was funny and engaging and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. The tour was long enough to be informative and short enough to be interesting. We did the Trinity tour so got 3 whiskeys to sample at the end, but enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we stopped for cocktails and some items in the gift shop after. Highly recommend the distillery as a way to pass a couple of hours in the city, in fact I’m still here.

We visited this museum years ago and decided to see it again on this trip because we liked it so much the last time we saw it. Visitors can see Irish history and also Viking history there that spans throughout the ages. It is sectioned off well to separate the various eras in history. Some of the stuff that was found and placed in the museum surprised me. Visitors can learn a lot about history of Ireland while visiting this museum.

Architecture is stunning and plenty of solitary places to enjoy some reflection. For those not interested I. Religious iconography, there’s plenty of history and ‘shinies’ to enjoy.

We stayed in the Temple Bar area. The good is that there is a vast selection of pubs, restaurants and attractions all.in walking distance. The bad is that it is dirty, crowded and noisy.
