Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic tour with a fanatic tour guide, Adam. The tour and museum were very informative and helped illustrate an important period in Irish history. Definitely worth the trip!

We had a really good time! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable (not just the script I'm sure they memorize, but we asked several questions during the tasting portion of the tour and he had some great info) and shared a lot of really interesting and fun history. We tried three whiskies at the end and enjoyed all three. I would definitely recommend doing the tour.

We did the tour on Sunday 1st Oct @11.30 and it was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Our guide was so knowledgeable that we reckon she would make a wonderful teacher as she had a wonderful knowledge of Irish History but the most important thing was she was able to convey her knowledge to everyone in the group young and old. Would highly recommend this tour as it gives a fantastic insight into Irish history

DO NOT MISS. Outstanding. We also met with a genealogist (Katie?) who was extraordinarily skilled and passionate about her work. She unearthed some really obscure information for us.

A real highlight of our trip to Dublin! This was in no small part due to the amazing Alan! His knowledge of the exhibits and and of the musicians they pertained to was excellent and he shared this with enthusiasm and personal stories that really brought it to life. Thank you Alan!. Was great to see young musicians coming in and out to the recording studios too. I would heartily recommend a visit.

The audio guide for the Book of Kells exhibit is extremely difficult to load, and the book itself is very hit or miss, depending on the day, but the Long Hall is magnificent. One of the highlights of Dublin.

We walked the grounds and it was surprisingly quiet even though it is located in the heart of the city. Very clean and the library would be a good visit for a rainy day.

National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology is a must visit place if you haven't been here! This place is a real gem! I heard a lot of fascinating information about the Vikings and their ways of living. The overall experience was very positive and I would come here again!

The area is very busy and worth passing through, but no need to plan to stay for hours...the bar itself is quite spirited.

Loved the tour and tasting. A combination of history, process, and tasting in a modern distillery. The fact that this is a working distillery sets it apart. Our tour guide Sophie was knowledgeable and charming!!!! She’s a five star guide. Slainte!!!!

"Pat was excellent". Having been told to write that, I can now write my own review!

We came across this experience by accident before we travelled. Forgot to book it, and we were disappointed to not be able to book online the night before we wanted to attend. Happened to walk past the following morning and were lucky to be able to book in person for later that day.

The tour was brilliant. Pat actually was excellent as a guide. He was knowledgeable and engaging. I learnt so much about the history of Dublin, both industrial and social, around that time and through the ages, and would have left Dublin much less the wiser if I hadn't visited Henrietta Street.

Would definitely recommend this experience, and book in advance to avoid missing it.

    Thanks Pat.
