Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great links course just 30 minutes from city Centre. Great golf course, good staff awesome views. Very laid back despite the “Royal” label.

Played a really nice and relatively fast (4 hours) fourball with friends with a Sunday 9:20am starting time. The course was in great condition, albeit quite saturated with water and offered great scenery, variation and challenging holes. The clubhouse and restaurant are really nice too. Limited information about each hole in the tee boxes.

Popped up there on a Sunday. Instead of a main, GF had two starters and I had the Curry.

The clubhouse has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The view you have is over looking one of the greens and im sure if the weather was alot nicer, we could of sat outside.

Seating area is very basic but all in all very good for a Golf Club. It was recommended by a friend and it was a great choice for sunday grub.

A challenging links course, with tees, fairways and greens in good condition, not great condition.
    Locker room clean.
A great course to play, well recommended.
The clubhouse service was very good. The dinner was excellent and piping hot.

Very poorly presented overall,no definition between fairways tees and rough very poorly cut, greens in very poor condition perhaps in need of hollow thining and a good dose of sand. Otherwise a very nice course in a unique setting.

This was my first visit to this golf course and it certainly didn't let me down. I must say it was absolutely beautiful. Greens, fairways and bunkers were all very well groomed. No 2 holes were the same. Some little sneaky water on some holes only if you didn't know it was there. Folks well worth a visit. Must better than any of the courses near it. Club house a bit old worldy but staff and food was top class. Definitely put on your society list or a must play course in dublin list. You certainly won't be disappointed. .. Can't wait to go back for a game...

We dined here twice this month after a long break as a result of Covid restrictions. I am delighted to report that the food, value for money and service were highly satisfactory. It is a very good option for families with plenty of space and ventilation.

Elmgreen is a municipal golf course just off the junction of the M3 and M50 motorways in west Dublin. The welcome is always good and despite heavy traffic, the course is always well maintained, It tends to be open when other parkland courses succumb to frost or rain. The reason is good drainage, helped by being on the side of a hill. This, however, results in 5 holes that involve a climb, so a buggy is recommended for older, or less mobile golfers. Booking is essential.

Small little Pitch and Putt course sitting just off the n11 before the Loughlinstown Roundabout. It’s been operating for many years.

I recently returned from an Ireland golf trip organized completely by Eoin at Curran Golf Travel. The trip could not have gone any better! Eoin organized the trip for 12 from my golf club for 8 rounds of golf primarily in the northwest. Everything went like clockwork from the time we all arrived in Dublin until 10 days later when we left for home. Eoin is very, very organized and every detail is attended to. He knows the courses, the hotels, the drivers, and every other aspect that goes into a great experience on a golf trip. Basically, he can help with anything to help make the trip more enjoyable. As an example, I was continuing on for more travel in Europe after golf and I left it up to Eoin to ship my golfclubs home, which he did efficiently and effectively. I highly, highly recommend Eoin and Curran Golf Travel for your next golf trip. You will not regret it in the least! Dennis Dalton

Our driver/host (Desmond) made our two day tour around Dublin, Galway, cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny and other towns memorable. He has deep knowledge of the area and was very easy to follow. He was always on time at our appointments. Full of suggestions of restaurants and POIs to visit. The bus was clean and very comfy. We surely recommend their service and definitely ask for Desmond or o clone of him if they have any.
