Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the world’s great golf clubs, if you only play one course in Ireland make it Royal Dublin. The club exceeded all my expectations.

The Pro Shop has some nice pieces so make sure you have room in your bag for when you go home. We had lunch and the food was excellent . Short of writing a magazine review I can’t put into words how great my visit was and I recommend RDGC to one and all.

Had a great time playing this course. I came to play for fun for the first time in Ireland. So many trees! Had a great day and a nice lunch afterward in the clubhouse restaurant. I’m not here to tell you about the width of the fairways, the stimp on the greens etc. Just know it’s a beautiful course and was fun to play.

Eoin at Curran Golf is at the top of his field. Incredible organization and responsiveness. Our group of 12 lacked for nothing. Top courses in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Great hotels. Not one glitch in schedule of transfers, hotels, tee times and dinners. Highly recommend Eoin.

Southwestern edge in County Clare, run for about ten miles. You can take Moher Ferry to view the towering cliffs, that was a little cold for me. However the locals were cycling, golfing, genealogy, bird watching. They have facilities, restaurants, both I loved.

Popped up there on a Sunday. Instead of a main, GF had two starters and I had the Curry.

The clubhouse has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The view you have is over looking one of the greens and im sure if the weather was alot nicer, we could of sat outside.

Seating area is very basic but all in all very good for a Golf Club. It was recommended by a friend and it was a great choice for sunday grub.

Short but took five hours to play. The greens had fusarium.
Everytime someone shouts "FORE" the whole golf course dives for cover.
A great course for relaxed golfers who are not in a hurry.

Decided to try the new menu which is €16.95 for starter main and glass of wine. They've done a job on the bar area and it looks better than it did before. There were plenty in eating the food.

I had the nachos to start, wife had the fish cakes. Both were really good. We both had piri piri chicken which is served with rice and for some strange reason, a small bowl of salsa. The salsa really doesn't match the dish! Main was ok without being great. The other options were lamb skewers, hake, penne arrabiata and a steak (€3 supplement, supplements on early birds always annoy me).

We live local so will probably return but hopefully the choice of mains might improve. There was a guy (Steve) playing guitar from around 8:30 which we enjoyed.

We dined here twice this month after a long break as a result of Covid restrictions. I am delighted to report that the food, value for money and service were highly satisfactory. It is a very good option for families with plenty of space and ventilation.

Puck’s Castle was a small and interesting little pitch and put type golf facility. It has been around for years but currently closed. You can still admire the views.

Small little Pitch and Putt course sitting just off the n11 before the Loughlinstown Roundabout. It’s been operating for many years.

This was my first visit to this golf course and it certainly didn't let me down. I must say it was absolutely beautiful. Greens, fairways and bunkers were all very well groomed. No 2 holes were the same. Some little sneaky water on some holes only if you didn't know it was there. Folks well worth a visit. Must better than any of the courses near it. Club house a bit old worldy but staff and food was top class. Definitely put on your society list or a must play course in dublin list. You certainly won't be disappointed. .. Can't wait to go back for a game...

A challenging links course, with tees, fairways and greens in good condition, not great condition.
    Locker room clean.
A great course to play, well recommended.
The clubhouse service was very good. The dinner was excellent and piping hot.

Elmgreen is a municipal golf course just off the junction of the M3 and M50 motorways in west Dublin. The welcome is always good and despite heavy traffic, the course is always well maintained, It tends to be open when other parkland courses succumb to frost or rain. The reason is good drainage, helped by being on the side of a hill. This, however, results in 5 holes that involve a climb, so a buggy is recommended for older, or less mobile golfers. Booking is essential.
