Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Book of Kells (and all the other historical texts) are incredible, and the explanations throughout the exhibition were really informative. The library is just stunning, and worth the visit alone.

There's an old episode of the show "Hands" featuring Dublin bookbinders, and Marsh's Library is featured in part of it. Since then I have made it a bucket list item to visit this wonderful library.

I was greeted by a library volunteer, Susan, who was very eager and passionate to tell me about some of the history and items on display. It was nice to have a pleasant chat with her.

Like the Book of Kells and the Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, this is an old leather bound book lovers paradise! Somehow this place is a bit less overwhelming. It's so charming here, and though you may not touch the volumes, you feel more connected to them.

I would highly recommend a stop here, even for the casual tourist who is not a bibliophile. One of my favorite stops in Dublin!

Dómhnaill is hands down the best tour guide I've ever seen, and the content delivered is outstanding. 2nd best outing of the year (went on this tour once before, was also delivered by Dómhnaill - alsoals excellent).

If you want a wonderful thing to do in Dublin when it rains (something new in Dublin !) go to this library on Kildare Street. You must visit the W.B. Yeats exhibit on the ground floor in this beautiful building which examines the life and works of William Butler Yeats. The literature, folklore, personal life (like lovers !), politics, theatre, the occult, all of W.B. Yeats is here in this fabulous award winning exhibition.

Also many NLI exhibits are scattered across the city like the photographic exhibit in Temple Bar and the Seamus Heaney exhibit in the Bank of Ireland building near Trinity College. Give them all a visit.

My mom and I had an amazing and insightful session with Patrick at the Irish Family History Centre. The family information and history he was able to access blew us away and filled our hearts with joy! Because of our time with Patrick, we were able to confirm years and years of research but even more so, uncover information we never knew. We will use this information when we return to Ireland and visit our family's farm.

Patrick is the ultimate investigator in genealogy. Watching him work was thrilling -- he does not give up and was just as excited by the discoveries as we were! I highly recommend a visit to the centre if you have any interest in learning more about your Irish roots.

As title says when I visited here to get information on all I could about tours, guides, where to visit etc in this lovely city they were very helpful and informative about where I should go, how to get there and what to do once there. I did know a few things as looked at the good old internet before I went but was lovely to get more information from local people.

I happened across this small exhibition centre a few years ago. It houses the National Archive of Irish photographs, which if you are interested can be viewed by appointment ( if you want to research a particular place or topic for example). However, it has an exhibition area in which a selected series of over-sized photos are displayed with a connecting theme, and accompanying explanations and wall text. It changes these exhibitions every few months. As it it near to Temple Bar, in Meeting House Square, it is easy to get to, and it's free of charge. It doesn't take too long to go round the exhibition, but it gives insight to the given topic, and so a little more background to "Irishness". Ideal if you only have a half hour or so, but want a bit more than just the usual tourist trap. You might be pleasantly surprised!

Attended a convention here. Well-laid out. Mine facilities. Convenient location. Some areas were closed off when I attended so I couldn't access the top floors, but the center has a nice view of the city and outside it's beautifully lit at night.

I was very impressed with the spacious "feel" of this facility. The layout was easy to follow and the views out were spectacular.

We visited here before a long haul flight to Orlando.
We found there was a selection of average sandwiches and two choices of hot food.
It was a bit messy with leftover food and rubbish left on multiple tables.
The toilets were clean and they had a shower to avail of also. We felt the price was a bit high for an average lounge. For the money spent on the lounge we feel we would of had better options and more variety in the departure lounge. There was a very long queue to get in which the lady did get through quick. You are also limited to two drinks per person per stay which is not like other lounges. For the price they charge, it would really make you reconsider booking again….

Temple Bar in Dublin as well as being a den of iniquity for foreign tourists to get their 'top'o'the'marnin' pint and diddly eye music or listen to buskers and be cajoled by beggars etc. It is also the centre in Dublin for photographic art, what with the Photographic Archive, a number of photo galleries and shops of which Library Project is one, a nice little place centering around the photographic image, with various merchandise on sale, but mostly books, worth a visit, you might be inspired!

Great walk 'n talk tour of Dublin's fascinating Dockland area by this company. Tour guide (Joseph) very friendly and an absolute mine of information - he went from history, engineering, geography, to leprosy and stories about the people who shaped this part of Dublin. All very interesting and great value for money - nearly 2 hours of non-stop talking!

Situated in the Georgian Merrion Square is this wonderful Library dealing with all things religeous. If you are into this sort of thing, reading about theology, laity etc, then this has to be the place for you, unfortunately for me it wasn't, it was just lost on me, but I visited, it's on TripAdvisor waiting to be reviewed and here it is!
    Enjoy!
