Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Well worth the two and half hours we spent at the museum. It drew you in to the immigration experience whether Irish or not

The tour guide, “Francis”, was so personable and informative. This is a short tour of a beautiful home and a collection of Irish memorabilia from the 20th century. It was great.

Amazing collection of artifacts and other historical exhibitions. I found the bog people's remains quite interesting. I also enjoyed learning further info about the time of Brian Boru, the Vikings and Medieval Ireland.

This was a very interesting tour about the famine ships. It was fascinating to learn about how these people lived and survived on these ships.

Fantastic walking tour and insights from Phelim. He really brought history to life and connects you to the stories and lives of those from the barracks to the gaol. Would highly recommend this tour. A great way to spend a morning in Dublin.

This museum has an awesome collection of historical artifacts from many eras in Ireland’s history. The museum is well done and easy to follow. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the decorative arts areas and my husband enjoyed the military history section.

We heard about this museum from a tour guide and decided to include it in our trip. It turned out to be a high point. It was easy to move through and informative. If you're not particularly interested in history, this might not be for you. But if you're interested in Vikings, this is a must do.

Only ground floor open at the moment, The Irish Room, but this has the iconic trio of the giant red deer skeletons. No more booking on line required but I waited a short time as there was a q. Limited numbers in at any 1 time. Understandable as there is important roof renovations ongoing. Love seeing our native fauna up close and the fantastic blaskavich glass representations. Free entry with a 5e donation request. Not bad.

My wife and I have visited several Irish Famine Museums throughout Ireland. Each time I leave depressed of the horrible circumstances the Irish people had to endure. I pray this never happens again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Yeats exhibit! Really well done. Free and definitely worth a visit if you're a fan at all. I enjoyed it more than the whole MOLI.

Building dates from 18 century, it's located in Dublin city center - Dame street. It's next to the Dublin castle, so it's great to do both tours. In town hall you'll find beautiful exhibition about historical Dublin.

Such a fascinating and interesting afternoon at The National Print museum. The tour guides Ciaran and Alexandra were so knowledgeable and helpful and I couldn't recommend the museum enough! Getting to print your own wanted poster keepsake was an extra unexpected plus.
