Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A beautiful campus established in 1592. Lots of grassy areas. Gorgeous stone buildings.

Although we didn't go into any "classroom" buildings, we did return later in the day for an "Evensong" in the Chapel. A beautiful building.

I'm not sure what to expect from a "Cathedral." But, St. Patrick's filled the bill. It is absolutely huge and very impressive, both inside and out. And, luckily for us, we were there on a Tuesday afternoon and attended a Choral Evensong......very nice!

The audio didn’t work for me but was very worth going specially if your religious! I did make the mistake of going on the weekend when it was very busy but still got to see everything and they have beautiful gifts in the gift shop .

Very near city center and a great way to spend an hour. We did the self guided tour and spent about 40 minutes or so. Be sure to walk around the exterior as there are little galleries and a garden to check out as well.

This was one of our favorite things we did in Dublin! Our tour guide was just the right amount of spooky, interesting, and funny. He really added to the experience! This is an interesting little tour that is definitely worth your time and money.

I went to Casino Marino last Monday. I rang and booked the 4pm tour. I had my 10yr old grandson with me. I wasn't sure if we would last long on the tour. I explained this to our tour guide Robert. We headed up being the only visitors on the tour. We had a most wonderful, interesting and exciting tour. Robert went above and beyond to make this tour special. I personally learner lots of new pieces of our Irish history. We both really enjoyed the tour. We have been advising people to visit before the season ends. Even with the very basic facilities attached to the site. It didn't distract from the tour. Thank you Robert for all the laughs and education. We will visit again soon.

Went to Farmleigh today for a walk in the grounds, plenty of parking and choice of nice walks in the grounds. I often go here for a walk on my lunch hour as I work in a dealership on the Navan Road. This is magical at Christmas and lovely all year long. We had a snack in the Boathouse after our walk. It a gem in the Phoenix Park. There are tours of the house too, you can book online.
I look the Sunken Garden, Walled Garden and the Clock Tower. Loads to do and see here.

While staying in Dublin we soon saw this Bridge which has become an iconic feature of the city.
We walk down to see it and of course walk to the other side.
It opened in 2009 and took two years to build.
The design is nice , the shape of a harp which seems to be a part of Irish culture. You can’t miss it

We went on a lovely tour. First come first served basis. One lady behind the visitor centre desk wasn't very friendly at all. Especially when she allowed another lady jump the queue over over 12 ahead of her (who waited before it opened and didn't just rock up at 9.30). Don't work in the OPW if you have no bother to be pleasant. However our amazing tour guide Leaf was amazing and made the tour so adult and child friendly. The bus driver was lovely also. Would have liked a slightly longer time at the information part down in the basement but the upstairs rooms were beautiful. No photos inside. Lovely to see the presidents real study he uses and see that it wasn't all pristine and tidy :)

Building dates from 18 century, it's located in Dublin city center - Dame street. It's next to the Dublin castle, so it's great to do both tours. In town hall you'll find beautiful exhibition about historical Dublin.

Originally built as the main post office (GPO), in early 19th Cent., in Georgian architecture style. During the Easter Rising of 1916, the GPO served as the headquarters of the uprising's leaders.
Today, the beautiful building still serves as a post office and it holds an interesting small museum .

It was possible to visit the structure only from the outside, one of the key-places of the Rising in 1916

Located at College Green – just opposite Trinity College, this beautiful building was originally the House of Lords in Ireland and retains the décor and artefacts of its previous history. Just go into the bank and in the main teller hall there are displays of historical coinage and financial instruments, which is worth a look. However, you can sometimes go into the Lords’ Chamber, now a meeting room – just ask, it’s worth a look for 5 minutes
