Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was an excellent day tour. This was my second tour with Paddywagon. I do wish they would include a photo of the pickup spots as some other tour companies have on their tour info pages, since I noticed a lot of others on the tour around the corner confused and was luckily able to tell them the correct pickup location. Our tour guide was awesome! Richard was very punctual and made sure that we had an excellent lunch by taking us to a great spot that had options for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan options. The time at Rock of Cashel was a bit shorter than I had hoped and I could have done without the stop in Cork since we had just eaten lunch and the food market there is the main thing our group went to and I would’ve liked to have that time at Blarney or Rock of Cashel. There is a good amount of time spent at Blarney and the Blarney Woolen Mills (about 2.5 hours), which I found adequate for what most people will want to do and see. One big suggestion I have for Paddywagon is to make the drop off location for where the tour ends clear before booking. Both tours I have taken with different drivers ended in a location other than the pickup point and the tour listing says the tour will end at the pickup point. This could really mess with plans if anyone makes reservations or plans in advance near the original pickup locations. Both drivers did tell us the drop off location about 40 minutes in advance and they were excellent places for dinner time, but I do think a specific drop off location should be set in advance for anyone short on time in the city and wanting to plan their trip accordingly. Overall, this is a fantastic option for a day trip from Dublin!

Fun tour with Dave! He had a lot of enthusiasm throughout the entire tour. His stories were interesting and he told them in a way that kept us all engaged. He also had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend.

Brian was fantastic. He had such knowledge and enthusiasm for the city, it was infectious and I wanted to know everything. This is our second time choosing Walks tours and although the experiences were very different in terms of things like group size and the tour guide’s focus/method of telling the story of the city, both were great experiences. We are sold and will be looking for Walks tours everywhere we travel.

The number 1 reason why I chose this tour provider is that they offer children rates and having to pay almost full price for an onfant is really not worth it. So this was the only one offering no fee for infants. Now I do have a 5yo cost me €40 and that’s fine.

On to the review. Jonathan is the man you’re looking for on this tour. I have to say he is knowledgeable. Hats off to him for being the driver and tour guide and for singing us 3 Irish songs all relating to the Irish life and history.
First to the Cliffs of Moher where you get 1 and a half hours to see the site. Be back on time or the bus will leave you behind. It’s ok to bring your stroller for the little one. Just know that you’ll be pushing it to the top of the hill. Next to a nearby pud for lunch where they serve.. yes, fish and chips and others like soup of the day and beed stew. Off to the Burren for a very scenic ocean view and some sea breeze. Lastly, an hour to spend at the vibrant city of Galway.
Don’t forget to take pictures while you can. All in all a very tiring but wholesome and great tour. Oh, and when you book 2 tours at once they have discounts. Just say Jonathan sent you.😉

P.S. I don’t have much photos cz my wife took all of them in her phone.😅

This trip was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were in Ireland for a little over a day as it was our final stop on our honeymoon (already did London & Scotland) we toured around the city of Dublin when we first arrived but we also wanted to see a bit of the mountains. Not having much time this half day trip was absolutely the perfect amount of time for us to get out of the city and see some of the country side of the island. We throughly enjoyed our tour guide Sean being a former cop he was very informative about the history of the island and was quite funny as well!

This was a private tour. Our guide/driver was Dan B. He was always early, very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. It was a great experience. Would definitely recommend Paddywagon based on our experience with Dan B.

Beautiful day on a big bus tour to the Wicklow Mountains. Driver was excellent and got us safely from Dublin to our destination efficiently and thru a lot of traffic. We had 2 hours to walk around the scenic area without a guide. Glendalough, old cemetery and lakes are stunning. We do not normally due this type of tour but it was a very cost efficient and safe way to enjoy the area. No bathrooms available after 4:15 this time of year so you have to plan your walk around the lakes around a bathroom stop. We were on the 1:30 tour, arrived at 3:15 and left at 5:15 so was an issue for a few people but everyone realized bus company has no control of the situation.

We joined the tour in Belfast. The driver was friendly and had a great sense of humour. For the price we paid it was well worth it. For anyone else joining at Belfast we were picked up to the side of the Europa Hotel in a big green signwritten Paddy Wagon. Great day :)

It’s a very long day but worth every second. The tour is broken up into three sections, the caves, the cliffs and the boat ride. The cave was a great start, it’s not claustrophobic to walk through and the guides are interesting. The cliffs are incredible but you only have a very limited time to see anything. I was only able to walk around a limited area. Regardless of the time, awesome view. The boat is one of the best ways to see the cliffs. We went on a windy and choppy day so the ride was a bit rough. Some people didn’t enjoy it but the sight of cliffs from the ocean is breathtaking. The tour is worth it.

My guy was phenomenal. Wonderful political history of revolutionary Ireland. Very cool and down with transgender women also. Also he rolls a killer smoke.
