  • The ranking of tours, activities, and experiences available on Tripadvisor is determined by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, the frequency of user clicks, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our driver Billy and guide John were very engaging, funny and informative. I would highly recommend this tour if you don't like driving yourself.

The tour was very interesting. Made even better by our guide James who knows a tremendous amount of background of Irish history and back stories. Very enjoyable .

I knew when our guide Sean started the tour at the Jameson Distillery with an Irish folk story that it was going to be fun. The tour included whiskey tasting and an informative talk about the distilling, malting and maturation processes by the folks at Jameson. The highpoint of the tour was being able to bottle the Jameson Black Barrel with your own name. The second part of the tour was at the Guinness Storehouse. There is so much to see and do that you can end up spending an entire afternoon at the Storehouse. Again, Sean did a great job at shepherding us thorough the cavernous 7-floor building providing us a running commentary of the history of Guinness and the brewing process. He gave us time to do a bit of exploring on our own at each floor. We ended the tour on the top floor in the GRAVITY BAR with a pint of Guinness in our hand. What better way to end the tour than to be able to sit, relax, drink and take in the amazing views of Dublin. Highly recommend this tour and kudos to Sean for making it interesting.

We used the bus to get to the Guinness Store house and around the city. The ride gives you a slow trip around the city. If you want to catch it in the morning, it takes about an hour and 1/2 to arrive to the Trinity City Hotel pickup. Then after they get rolling, the busses are alot more regular. The app does show location of each bus thru the day.

This was an excellent day tour. This was my second tour with Paddywagon. I do wish they would include a photo of the pickup spots as some other tour companies have on their tour info pages, since I noticed a lot of others on the tour around the corner confused and was luckily able to tell them the correct pickup location. Our tour guide was awesome! Richard was very punctual and made sure that we had an excellent lunch by taking us to a great spot that had options for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan options. The time at Rock of Cashel was a bit shorter than I had hoped and I could have done without the stop in Cork since we had just eaten lunch and the food market there is the main thing our group went to and I would’ve liked to have that time at Blarney or Rock of Cashel. There is a good amount of time spent at Blarney and the Blarney Woolen Mills (about 2.5 hours), which I found adequate for what most people will want to do and see. One big suggestion I have for Paddywagon is to make the drop off location for where the tour ends clear before booking. Both tours I have taken with different drivers ended in a location other than the pickup point and the tour listing says the tour will end at the pickup point. This could really mess with plans if anyone makes reservations or plans in advance near the original pickup locations. Both drivers did tell us the drop off location about 40 minutes in advance and they were excellent places for dinner time, but I do think a specific drop off location should be set in advance for anyone short on time in the city and wanting to plan their trip accordingly. Overall, this is a fantastic option for a day trip from Dublin!

We enjoyed our tour with Finn McCools Tours so much! We had the absolute best tour guide, Peter, and driver, Anil, many many thanks to them both. During the drives between sites, Peter imparted so much interesting information about the history and sites of Ireland, and he showed us the warmth and wonderful storytelling abilities that are characteristic of the Irish. This tour gave us an opportunity to see and learn so much -- the next day we took a non-guided independent trip to Galway and we found ourselves wishing we had gone with a tour like this one based mainly on all of the information we knew we could have learned with Peter as our guide. We had enough time to explore each of the sites that we stopped at, and it was all fairly casual and easy. I highly recommend this tour and hope you have the best time!

You can't visit Dublin and not come here! Even though we were only on a day trip, it was top of our list and we really enjoyed it. Not only do you learn about the history of the brand and the manufacturing process, but there is a floor dedicated to advertising/marketing bringing back memories of all those iconic ads from the past (possibly my favourite part). And the water feature is super impressive!
It's a self-guided tour so you can go at your own pace, but audio guides are available when you arrive if that's what you would prefer.
We were on the 10:15 session and it wasn't mega-busy (no queues at the Gravity Bar for your included obligatory pint) and it's also worth noting that the price goes up later in the day (we paid 20 euro, it goes up to 28!)

This tour is great! Our tour guide Liam and bus driver Sergio were excellent! Kilkenny is a vary walkable city and has many cool shops. The sheep dog trials are very fun to watch. I highly recommend this tour!

I would for sure recommend this trip and this company. Our bus was comfortable and driver did a great job on those narrow roads! Our guide, Rory, was fun to listen to as he filled us in on the story of Irish history and the details on landmarks we passed. He had great recommendations on what to do at our various stops and in Dublin as well.

Belfast: we did a Black Taxi tour with Pat. Would definitely recommend this. It was 4-6 people per taxi. Pat was very personable while relating the history of the Troubles.

Dunluce Castle: Amazing. Really cool castle ruins and stunning views of the coastal cliffs and North Atlantic.

Giant’s Causeway: Really fun. Recommend the walk along the cliffs above the causeway for great view if you’re up for a short hike!

Overall, a great way to see a good bit of Northern Ireland while being based in Dublin!

Brian was fantastic. He had such knowledge and enthusiasm for the city, it was infectious and I wanted to know everything. This is our second time choosing Walks tours and although the experiences were very different in terms of things like group size and the tour guide’s focus/method of telling the story of the city, both were great experiences. We are sold and will be looking for Walks tours everywhere we travel.

Fun tour with Dave! He had a lot of enthusiasm throughout the entire tour. His stories were interesting and he told them in a way that kept us all engaged. He also had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend.
