Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- dmarqu52155513 contributionsWe had a good time at the Jameson distillery. The tour is interesting, providing details about the processes of producing whiskey and how to taste it! - Steve H4 contributionsGreat afternoon spent at the Teeling Distillery. Really interesting hearing about the history and renaissance of Irish whiskey. Thanks to our guide Marc for making it a memorable experience and yes, the tasting session at the end is quality. Highly recommended 👍Written 27 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Amy C1 contributionHighly recommend Roe and Co!! We went to this distillery on a whim as my boyfriends last name is Roe and we just wanted to have a look. Everyone who worked there was so inviting and welcomed us to the bar for a drink, even though we were the only ones there in the beginning the atmosphere was fantastic and got better and better as people started to flood in. We were even offered a tour but we had a booking elsewhere so unfortunately we had to give it a miss but is definitely on the list for when we return to Dublin. Our server I believe his name was Colin recommended a few places to eat for dinner and one of them being Mongolian BBQ which was phenomenal.
Definitely worth a trip as we really enjoyed ourselves!Written 26 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pete GBelfast, UK2 contributionsWe had a fantastic time at the distillery . Very informative and the whiskey wasn’t bad either. - Rachel LCalgary, Canada6 contributionsWe were able to snag a spot at the bar and had a very authentic experience listening to the bartenders talk and pour whiskeys. Both bartenders made their Irish Coffee slightly different so obviously we had to try both versions :) It was fascinating to watch, quite the process! This is honestly the BEST Irish coffee I have ever had, so delicious! The place itself is quite small but that's part of the charm. It's cozy and quaint, with fun memorabilia, whiskeys, and cigars on display. You can escape the busy Temple Bar here! We didn't feel rushed, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend :)Written 18 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
