Great old fashioned Dublin pub. Professional service and not afraid of serving a bottle of non-alcoholic lager!

Arrive early on weekend nights - very popular!

Yep this feels like the real deal. Feels like original decor, no concessions to modern gastro pub culture, bloke behind the bar has been pulling pints for 40 years. Guiness was fantastic. Basically a proper Irish boozer with no food. Sit at the bar and feel like a local.

Great little typical bar. Perfect Guinness. A bit crowded and loud but perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. Worth a pint!

Popped in at the bar two times last weekend. Breakfast; Value as expected in this area. Eggs Benedict were superb. Friendly staff with good service. Also went in for a drink in the afternon in the bar area. Old fashioned irish bar with the drinks you would expect in this kind of pub. Recommanded.

Nice atmosphere, old fashioned but beautifull pub where you can enjoy a nice talk and a good pint with friends. Service is very friendly. Worth visiting!

This truly is a cash cow for tourists.
The place is always jumping even through the week at lunchtime.
Its mostly tourists looking for a "typical Irish pub". Its not and its there to make maximum profit.
However...go and experience it and watch loads of people come in with cameras, phones and video cameras.
Its a fascinating watch. Grab a pint (dont expect much change from a 10 euro note) sit down, listen to a "traditional" Irish singer and watch it all go by.
    Its a laugh.

We visited the pub as part of a short break away. Atmosphere was brilliant and live band was very good. Very enjoyable, would visit again.

We entered this bar looking for a quick bite to eat. It is a classic bar. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the Irish Stew was really good.

This spot was everything we expected! The little red door of the pub was pointed out to us on our DoDublin bus tour and we had to check it out (even if just to say we'd had a pint of Guinness in the smallest pub in Dublin). It's underground so you can really disconnect and take some time-out.

This pub is an institution and a place I always make a bee line for when I get to Dublin. Class pints, nice atmosphere of soft chat and a atypical irish pub experience. Get a cheese toastie with your pint of stout.

The Cellar Bar is in the heart of the city. It’s part of the Merrion Hotel. I haven’t been here for well over a year. The food and waiting services are very good. Not cheap but good value. On a hot summers day it’s very cool temperature wise.

We stopped in here for afternoon drinks and snack. I had nachos and a G&T. Good drink, nachos OK, very large portion.

We popped in for a couple of drinks after Christmas shopping. We got seats at the bar upstairs. The Irish coffees were delicious and perfect thing to warm us up. The staff are so friendly and helpful.
