Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great place to walk around and get lost. I recommend going after you've eaten. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to buy everything! It's a pretty big place and easy to get lost in. Lots of good food and things to buy. I recommend going to On The Pigs Back. They've got a variety of meat, cheese, and bread.

    Superb place to visit.
Do the guided tour. Barry was our guide. Superb great facts told with a lovely sence of humor. The observatory was a real surprise. The grounds are magnificent.

Arguably the heart of Cork's retail heart. An ideal place to find all of your High Street needs from budget right up to higher end fair. And dotted around are numerous cafes and eateries giving you ample opportunity for refreshments.
Something for everyone as you meander through the side streets and find your way around.
If in Cork, visit St Patrick Street

Amazing and beautiful Park. But as always, completely insufficient parking provided by local council who have given it Zero thought.

We had a great group experience at Elizabeth Fort this morning. We had a private tour with Miriam as part of our staff initiative to attend Cork's best attraction's to gather knowledge and learn more about the city.

We arrived in the rain. Our tour guide, Miriam, was fantastic throughout and the rain did not dampen her enthusiasm.
Would highly recommend Elizabeth Fort for anyone wishing to learn and explore some of Cork's finest history.

The Sunday Mass every week at 10:00 AM, is in the Irish Language and is very special. It is
well worth a visit. The building is, for all intents, an Art Gallery, with a display of the best architecture, sculpting, painting and stained glazing.

Got to be honest was quite surprised how good this place was. Some really fascinating art pieces, modern and old and some great Irish and Cork art. Lovely setting too and a lovely quaint book shop.

    and it's free...

Would highly recommend you visit this place if in Cork

Easy to find, plenty of off-road parking. Visit, remember, share a few words and leave a token of something. An emotional moment to cherish.

My husband and I avail of any opportunity to visit this beautiful Venue. The intimate coffee/wine Dock is a welcome stop off before the Cinema. The patrons who visit appear to have a genuine appreciation of the arts, as there is no popcorn munching, unwrapping of sweets or mobile phone intrusions. The City Centre venue makes for convenience and the staff are always helpful and pleasant. We look forward to receiving the weekly Schedules so that we can plan our next visit.

Paid a visit to Collins Barracks in January and had a very enjoyable and informative tour, especially the Michael Collins room. We spent about two hours with the tour guide, Denis McGarry, and couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If you’re reading this Denis, huge thank you from us.

The staff here was super helpful and gave us great recommendations on things to do and how to use the public transport. The guy we talked to seemed to be genuinely proud of his community and like he enjoyed sharing it, which is always nice to see and a good feeling. If you've got free time in Cork and you're not sure how to spend it, you should swing by and get some pointers.

    - Good range of play equipment in park
    - Fairy trail that was long enough for little legs to enjoy and complete
    - Plenty of parking
    - Loads of green space to run around
    - Would have been nice to have a coffee shop/cart option- didn't see anything of the kind

    Great park, will definitely return

Lovely Irish short film exhibition on the ground floor. I enjoyed a miniature model of Cork City. Great exhibition showcasing history of Ireland and Cork.
