We didn't have as much time as we would have liked to hike around the island, but are really glad we made the trip! - Ann D2 contributionsFrom booking with Lynda to our driver Constantine, iDrive Group has been an absolute pleasure to work with! We used their services from Cork to Dublin with several stops along the way. There were 8 of us and we had a Mercedes Sprinter that easily accomodated all of our luggage with very comfortable seating. Their rates were reasonable and inline with the other car services we used while in Ireland. - 54mickElmhurst, IL35 contributionsWe highly recommend Executive Chauffeurs. Mike Ryan and his guys are great. They bring a world of experience and practicality to your trip, both in planning and service. Yet they really are flexible. Well worth the cost.
We had 10 people, 8 adults and 2 young kids, which is not easy to plan. Our driver was John Fitzgerald, a perfect gentleman from outside Killarney, who by the end we all considered our good friend. We traveled 9 days Dublin, Cork, Killarney and County Kerry, and Gallway. If we had driven on our own, we would have missed many hidden sites and some great food and drink along the way. - Terry-and-Dot90 contributionsI only have positive things to say about “About Ireland Taxi Tours”. If I could give them six stars out of five I would.
Starting with the basics all three drivers we met Keith, Ken and Terry were punctual, excellent drivers and very knowledgeable but that just scratches the surface, they were simply fantastic and made our holiday a great success, I cannot thank them enough.
They were way more than just drivers, they really cared that we had the best experience we could have and for a family of ten people of varying ages that is not easy. They were totally flexible on the itinerary and adapted it to our needs. We could never have seen so much of the country without them. They are simply the best.
I would also say that the planning of our vacation and all of the logistics could not have been done without the expert guidance of Bob and Jenny. He picked us up at the port and we spent the next six hours visiting Cork, Kinsale, Blarney, Jameson's and many other sites in between! Paul offered us the history of all of the sites we visited! Our guide, Martin, was fantastic, he was so knowledgeable and funny. He took us to see fantastic places we had no idea about . The company representative helped us create a great itinerary and genuinely cared about us having a great time. We were in Ireland right at the beginning of the shutdown for the Cornavirus scare, and Shella (company rep) was checking in on us and making sure we were all good and still having a good time. He was dependable, kind and patient as he helped us navigate our first trip to Ireland which included visiting family and various sites. Man on the phone on the way out was lovely, when I ordered the taxi on the way back the woman couldn't have been ruder if she tried. If she's trying to lose them business, she's succeeding. Seemed annoyed at the fact I've even called.
The taxi men are great when I've used them in the past but every time I get through to this women I'm the phone she's so rude.
