Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a well done tour. One can follow along using the program to read about what is displayed at the 23 exhibits (so there is no need to pay extra for the audio option).
It was a strenuous walk up to the jail from city center for us old folks.
We learned a lot and enjoyed walking the jail and its grounds. There are a few “games” designed to keep the youngest visitors engaged.
    Allow an hour at least.

I had a great visit to this legacy of an amazing woman, Nano Nagle. I opted for a guided tour in the afternoon and it was wonderful. Bernard is a fantastic guide! The museum, shops, and garden are very nice too. Highly recommend taking the time to visit.

Really interesting and informative volunteer run museum about Irish Independence through local eyes. Lovely couple of volunteers were there to help us. Toilets available. It’s also very close to the monument where Michael Collins was assassinated, so it’s well worth a little detour.

A lovely tour of the old waterworks building and machines. A very well preserved site with all the original Victorian equipment. There is a portable audio tour and short Auduo visual presentation which really adds to the experience. The tour od the engine room is guided and this added immensely to the understanding of the equipment and of the visit. probably of greater interest to anyone interested in Victorian engineering but a nice addition to a vista to Cork and close to the Gaol

Lovely Irish short film exhibition on the ground floor. I enjoyed a miniature model of Cork City. Great exhibition showcasing history of Ireland and Cork.

Passage West is awash with maritime history and it's being brought to life at this new museum. The attractiveness of the artefacts on display contributed to
    a very enjoyable experience .
