Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

    Interesting wide ranging collection .
The Harry Clarke exhibition was fascinating, I would have liked to learned about how the three exhibited panels were made. I’m sure that this kind of work was technically very challenging in 1910/11.

This Gallery is hidden away on the grounds of University College in Cork. We stumbled onto this place looking for a restroom and were stunned by the works here. A must see.

This place is great for light meals, teas & coffee, everything is prepared in-house by the chef and served up by a friendly and helpful server.

We stop of regularly for breakfast, coffee breaks and on one occasion and never had a bad experience.

€9 was far too expensive for a small, dry baguette roll (defrosted?) with a few slices of salami and tomato. It took 20 minutes to prepare, although there were no other customers in the cafe, by which time I had to take it away rather than be able to sit down and eat it. Very disappointing, will not visit again.

This is a small gallery which has a wide range of art from ceramics, to painting , prints and sculpture . The Lavitt has exhibitions for emerging artists and it is a great opportunity to get your hands on early works.
The price range is good and you can find Christmas, wedding and birthday presents. You can also get a voucher, I recently got a voucher there for a wedding. Great for the couple who has everything.

I've been to this gallery, obviously specialising in photography several times now.
The gallery puts on a broad range of exhibitions and always a selection of self produced photography by established and 'young' photographers.
It's a small intimate space and the shows have always been beautifully curated and incorporated into a charming building, known as The Lord Mayors Pavilion in Fitzgerald's Park.
It is obviously run by photographers, always ready to give information about the photography on show, and what is happening in the local photo groups in Cork.
I highly recommend visiting this specialist gallery, whether your main interest in the arts is photography or another area. You are unlikely to be disappointed.

Note: This shop is no longer trading as an art shop. It is now a barber shop. Oh for Gods sake, they want my review to be 50 characters minimum just to tell you the shop is no longer trading. Sheesh.

A gorgeous shop. It's wonderful to see so many Cork made crafts represented! I bought a beautiful set of unique greeting cards that I can't wait to use.
