Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- bcs488Grand Rapids, MI257 contributionsWhile solo, I am on a Rabbi's tour and our driver, Mathew, got us on the road early to beat the crowds to Blarney Castle, good thing. Even arriving early it's a slow go getting in the castle and kissing the Blarney Stone. And so a 60+ year dream came true having thought about this after reading about it in World Book Encyclopedia as a youngster (a plug here for print media). Fantastic experience.Written 19 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rachel FasuloThomaston, CT132 contributionsThe Blarney Stone castle grounds were so much fun to explore. They have ice cream and so many things to tour! We started with the castle, followed by the "poison garden", and then the family home. The history of all of it was so interesting to learn and we had SO much fun! Oh, and everyone says not to kiss the stone because the locals pee on it- up to you whether you do it or not! - JohnnyGCastlecomerCastlecomer, Ireland55 contributionsJust decided we would have a look around the area while we are down for the day. Spent a few hours visiting different places.Written 18 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
