Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

YES! Walk over the Shakey Bridge! We visited the Goal and then took a nice little walk down the hill and over this bridge to the delightful Fitzgerald park on the other side. Made the walk way more fun and interesting for my kids!

What can I say ... this is a pedestrian bridge that spans the River Lee. It’s handy for getting across the river .

We spotted this bridge from another we were crossing on our way into central Cork. It’s probably easily spotted from St Fine Barre’s Cathedral too. The Bridge is a short walk from Nano Nagle Place (of course!) and is perhaps a little more modern looking than some other footbridges above the River Lee.

The views of the waterway that runs through the campus are gorgeous and the entire location is serene-when students are in class! This is just across the road from Fernroyd House BnB.

2020:the recent re paving of Harleys Street now completes the pedestrian link between Mary ELMES Bridge and MacCurtain Street.
As a result numbers using Mary ELMES Bridge have greatly increased.
