Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First off, the lady at the entrance was very helpful and kind. That's always important for tourist attractions, and it deserves credit. The cathedral itself was a stunning piece of architecture, with an incredible ceiling, gorgeous stained glass windows, and an altar area (there's a word for that) which was both beautiful and stately. Outside, around the back, is a labyrinth made from grass and stone. It is not an actual labyrinth, so don't bother looking around for an underground maze like I accidentally did.

This is an exceptionally beautiful church. It is quite old style but is a haven of peace in the busy city. Mass in Latin is celebrated here regularly.

What a sight to behold. You are situated in such a lovely spot with fabulous views. Once inside the church you will be amazed by the beautiful craftmanship, woodwork, and glass stained windows. This is a most beautiful Cathedral. A must to see

The brothers and lay helpers are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Stop for a chat with them after mass and find out what else they have going on during the week.

The Church of Ireland is right here in Blarney. Its a beautiful historic church right in town with an old cemetery in the back.

Great place to visit. Warm, peaceful atmosphere, filled with God's love. No matter if You know God already, or just looking for Him, You can find here something building for yourself. If You are a visitor from abroad there is a great chance that You can meet somebody from Your country. It is also a great, safe and full of fun place for children where they can experience God's love and power! Very good location in Cork City center, near train and bus station.

This is a truly beautiful old church and the oldest active catholic church within Cork City. It is an oasis of calm throughout the day, where one can escape the madness of the modern world to sit and contemplate / mediate / pray. It is cool, quiet and dim, the perfect atmosphere for contemplation.
It unsurprisingly as an active catholic church, has a number of religious icons including the spectacular under alter sculpture of the "The Dead Christ" being one of three by the Cork John Hogan. All may be admired at your leisure no matter your religious persuasion, culture, creed or orientation. Two side alters provide adoration for Mary Aikenhead and the Venerable Nano Nagel, two very important historical women local to this congregation.
The congregation goes out of its way to welcome all visitors and hosts an after mass tea on the first weekend of every month (after 6 mass on Saturday evening and 11 mass on Sunday morning) where all are invited from the alter to partake , no matter your religious beliefs or whether a regular attendee or a visitor.
Enjoy the peace, sanctuary and hope that's difficult to find in this busy world anymore

Always a place to visit respectively and take a moment...
Ireland and some of its finest gave their sacrifice during the Great War, World War 1, and we will not forget them...
