Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Have lived in Cork for years and only visited today for the first time. It is a beautiful building and well worth visiting. We met the most knowledgable guide, called Michael, who showed us around the Cathedral pointing out all the wonderful historical facts about the church. He was clearly enthusiastic and his love and admiration for the building was clearly evident, which also rubbed off on us. We really enjoyed our visit

The Sunday Mass every week at 10:00 AM, is in the Irish Language and is very special. It is
well worth a visit. The building is, for all intents, an Art Gallery, with a display of the best architecture, sculpting, painting and stained glazing.

What a sight to behold. You are situated in such a lovely spot with fabulous views. Once inside the church you will be amazed by the beautiful craftmanship, woodwork, and glass stained windows. This is a most beautiful Cathedral. A must to see

The brothers and lay helpers are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Stop for a chat with them after mass and find out what else they have going on during the week.

Great place to visit. Warm, peaceful atmosphere, filled with God's love. No matter if You know God already, or just looking for Him, You can find here something building for yourself. If You are a visitor from abroad there is a great chance that You can meet somebody from Your country. It is also a great, safe and full of fun place for children where they can experience God's love and power! Very good location in Cork City center, near train and bus station.

A hidden gem in the heart of the city. Free to visit the gardens which I would highly recommend. It’s hard to believe you are in the middle of a city once you are in the gardens. We didn’t visit the coffee shop but will return in the summer when the flowers are in full bloom.
