Due to the small group and the lack of crowds during the off-season, she was able to personalize the tour since there were only three of us. I never expected the beauty of seeing the castle grounds and gardens covered in a fresh layer of frost. - Anonymous365Portland, OR16 contributionsKerry did an outstanding job on this tour! It was fun, delicious, perfectly paced (neither rushed nor bogged down with waiting), and informative. We learned much about fascinating Cork history as we jumped from vendor to vendor to sample cheeses, sausages, amazing breads, chocolates, meat pies, and of course Irish coffee. At nearly every stop we spoke with the owners and makers themselves.
Pickings will be slim for vegans (vegetarians won’t starve) and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. - Gia C3 contributionsJack gave us the most interesting insight into Cork. We highly recommend a tour of Cork with Jack. Wow - the history of this little town is so deep and amazing. It is such a great experience to walk through it with someone from the area that can capture the biggest picture of it all while still enlightening you to the current action. Jack met us right on time, maximized our experience - from the past to the present … all while it rained and stopped and rained again. on Avenue Jehan de Beauce in the city centre. Brilliant experience. Louis-Martin greeted us and even though they were busy and we did not have a reservation, he accommodated us at the upper level. Great food, casual but excellent dining. Great buzz about the place. Louis-Martin was a fabulous host. I cannot recommend the place highly enough and I would love to call in there again if I ever find myself in Chartres.
