- Anonymous365Portland, OR16 contributionsKerry did an outstanding job on this tour! It was fun, delicious, perfectly paced (neither rushed nor bogged down with waiting), and informative. We learned much about fascinating Cork history as we jumped from vendor to vendor to sample cheeses, sausages, amazing breads, chocolates, meat pies, and of course Irish coffee. At nearly every stop we spoke with the owners and makers themselves.
Pickings will be slim for vegans (vegetarians won’t starve) and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. As someone who appreciates bold flavors, I was impressed by how it blends Irish distilling expertise with Indian-inspired botanicals like pomelo and nutmeg mace. The result is a gin that’s fresh, vibrant, and full of character. Learning about the story behind it—from the founders’ passion to their ethical sourcing—was equally inspiring. The interactive nature of the performers really made it a great time for all of the family and we had everyone from ages 6 to 69! Response was within 30mins and they helped me book my tour and redeem my voucher within the hour. Dave, our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the tour and had a bit of banter with every member of the tour. The food samples were really tasty and generous. I was very impressed with their efficiency and helpful attitude.
