What a great trip. Rock of Cashel was so surprising and beautiful. Wish we had more time to explore Cork. Blarney Castle was wonderful. It was nice to be able to walk into the castle and climb it.

So glad I took the tour! Well worth it. It is a long day. So bring snacks and water. There is a cafe to get a limited bite at the Blarney castle.

We took the tour to Cork with Richard O’Brien. He was an excellent guide. He unfortunately had an issue with one of the guests that kind of put a damper on the whole trip. Richard did a good job dealing with it while keeping the rest of us going forward. His knowledge and information was very helpful with our trip. Gave lots of little antidotes and placed we should visit here in Ireland.

Vincent was our tour guide on the tour around southern Ireland in March, and he’s the best! He put up with the 6 of us on the tour (20’s and 30’s) who came solo but became friends. We loved that he was his genuine self. He kept us entertained throughout the trip. The trip was absolutely amazing. We especially loved laying out in the sun at Slea Head and exploring Dingle. I’ll never forget the memories made on that trip. Please let Vincent know how much we appreciate him.

Tour was very good - Dan was an amazing Guide. Took us to see EVERYTHING!!!! It is a go, go, go tour - only downfall is the accommodations - they are average but very unorganized when we arrived at them-no one knew where they were staying until we pulled in and then it was very chaotic!!! Dan was wonderful in sorting it out but it definitely took an at least 30 minutes to get everything organized. That was my only disappointment in the tour. Other than that we seen it All!!!!!

We were booked to go on this excursion but unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute due to urgent surgery. I cannot review actual excursion other than say the tour prices are very reasonable in comparison to cruise ship tours.
Ian has handled the cancellation in an excellent and caring way and I would certainly re-book when in the area again.

The ground around castle are very pretty. There is a lot of shopping there also but a visit to the castle can take up a good part of the day Long lines to enter and longer lines if you want to kiss the blarney stone

The tour itself was wonderful. Guide was informative and included a lot of history, while being quiet enough in the early morning to allow us to relax and nap on the bus. Day one was Jam packed, and I wish we would have had a little longer as the Q at Blarney castle was 90 minutes and we were given only two hours. Not willing to waste our time there in line, we opted to explore the grounds instead and missed our chance at the Blarney Stone.
Now, for the accommodation. The upgrade to a standard accommodation (rather than hostel) is a B&B which is old but clean and hospitable. (Acorn Inn). The tour company does not provide the name of the hotel nor do they share that it is a ten minute walk up a steep hill (I was towing 70 lbs worth of luggage). Had I known, I would have simply ordered a cab. While the driver offered to carry my luggage, he was older than I so I certainly didn’t feel comfortable with that!
The tour leaves from a spot in Dublin around the corner from the Paddywagon office. Tickets were not clear and the spot was not marked. Buses were obvious but no sign as to which bus was for which tour. No sign or person to indicate the need to check in at the office. Very disorganized.

What a great way to see Ireland! After our original trip was postponed four times, my daughter and I were excited to arrange a tour with Rabbie's. Tony, our driver and "tour guide" was so informative and friendly. Our group was small and he always ensured that we were enjoying ourselves. How could we not? Ireland is magnificent! I highly recommend Rabbie's tours.

Skellig Michael is not to be missed. But it's not for the faint of heart. The entire tour was incredible. Our tour driver Pat was tremendous. He was entertaining very helpful and knowledgeable about the places we were going as well as off the beaten path. He knew great food recommendations. He kept an eye on those who may have needed extra help.

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about our experience on Railtours Ireland! Our tour guide Brian was the absolute best and told the most amazing stories and history. We learned about the history of Ireland, leprechauns, and fairy trees all while driving through the beautiful Irish countryside! The trains were efficient and the buses were able to get us closer to all the beautiful sights along the coast. This being our first time in Ireland, we really wanted to see everything without having to rent a car. We are so happy we chose the rail tour because we got to see everything and learn so much along the way. We especially loved Blarney castle and the cliffs of Moher even if it rained the whole day! Everything was so well organized and perfectly timed. So glad to have not had to book all the excursions and transportation on our own. Again, tour guide Brian was easily the most fun part! I hope we can take another tour in the future!

Great tour, next time 21 days in Ireland! Guide was knowledgeable, avoided the crowds, and fun. Lodging was lovely bed breakfasts, the best way to go. You won’t be able to see Ireland like this by yourself! Just GO don’t look back!
