Fantastic place to see. The cliffs are tall and there is easy access and a good information centre. You can find a spot away from the crowds if you jump a fence. Great spot to see.

We took a tour of the castle and it was super cool. Best part was the roof and its views. The windy stairs were awesome and gave us great exercise. The staff was kind and courteous. We then visited the park behind it which was fun, especially for the kids. We enjoyed warm mead and mince pie. SANTA was there to meet the kids. ♡♡♡♡♡♡

Our guided tour of the stone fort was really well presented by Patrick. Walking backwards to lead us and very knowledgeable he taught us about the history, construction, and relics the fort is bringing forth. After the tour, we went to the viewing area for the sheep dog herding presentation. The presenter was able to demonstrate how the dogs work and humorously introduced each dog. Seeing how they work together was great and yes, you get to pet the dogs at the end.
The cafe was also nice with sandwiches, pastries and beverages.

Stopped by for a visit. Most people booked online we just drove by. The tours go out every so often. We just arrived at the right moment. 37 euros for 2 people to enter. You walk down into the cave. Here is a open area you see the largest stalactite in Europe. Pretty good. There is a little walk around 1 km. Good place for a stop to stretch your legs.

These cliffs are stunning! We didn't do the full walk, but stopped along the trail and were blown away by the beautiful cliffs. This is worth the drive, and much quieter & less busy than the Cliffs of Moher.

We spent most of one day driving through The Burren and thoroughly enjoyed the views. The Burren is dominated by striking, unusual limestone formations and landscapes. Despite the harsh appearance, The Burren is alive with wildlife, flowers and vegetation. I highly recommend taking some time to explore this beautiful place.

The Burren National Park is located in Western Ireland. It is a natural area with very beautiful views and especially with natural rock formations on the ground. It is a place, where you can also see old ruins (Corcomroe Abbey and Caherconnell stone fort), megalithic structures (Paulbrone Dolmen), some local shops (Burren Smokehouse, Burren Gold cheese&taste, Flange shore oysters and Hazel Mountain chocolate). In fact, it is a natural park, where you spend all day by car: doing hikes, visiting some sightseeing points and enjoying the rock formations. Very nice.

We ended up driving from Galway, catching the Shannon ferry while traveling to Dingle. Coming from Washington State, we were just amazed at how punctual these ferries are. We paid $23, one price (unlike our ferries that are car and driver plus passengers) additionally there is a little kiosk with snacks for sale and a toilet as well. You pay once you are in the ferry, which was something foreign to us but we thought it was just so unique. We got out of our car, purchased a coffee on the ferry and walked up top to get a good view. Such a great experience!

The tour seemed very rehearsed and not super genuine, but it was interesting. It was a cool way to get an introduction to cave formations and is great for kids or educational experiences. Not very adventurous.

Wow, what a great time we had here. The Centre features live raptors and other birds in outdoor observation cages and some informative displays in the main building as well. But the "must see" part of the Centre is the outdoor raptor demonstration. The Centre staff do a great job in working with the birds of prey to exhibit their specific skills and hunting techniques. They also engage audience members in the demonstration, adding to the fun.

If in The Burren, this attraction is unique and well worth your time. The Poulnabrone Dolmen tomb is off the beaten path but quite easy to get to despite the remote location. The mystique of The Burren's geological landscape and quiet natural beauty surround you as you make the easy, flat walk to the tomb from the spacious parking area. This large stone, megalithic structure was in use for about 600 years over 5000 years ago! This structure is one of the oldest and most important structures in all of Ireland. NOTE: The footing on the limestone rock near the tomb can be quite tricky to navigate. Wear shoes with good traction and use extreme caution, especially in damp weather.
