Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- I_and_E_NJParsippany, NJ25 contributionsBeautiful place - relaxing, interesting, very nicely architected set of unique gardens. The water features add interesting points and tranquility. Great opportunity to slow down, see the beautiful flowers, listen to birds and water. The entry fee is very reasonable. The coffee shop has great selection. Spent there about hour and a half, but would have stayed longer time permitting.Written 23 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GemsNIArmagh, UK599 contributionsStumbled upon this historic castle home. Followed the signs through some beautiful countryside and a quaint little village to find the castle. We were warmly welcomed by the young woman in the cafe where we had tea and cake before going on a tour through the castle. Our guide was Peter, who was friendly, funny and knowledgeable, sharing the history of the castle and the family along with some wonderful artifacts throughout the house. This castle has some of the best artifacts and original furnishings of any castle I've been to in recent times (make sure you ask about the vine). We loved this informal tour of the castle rooms culminating in a visit to the basement area which is interesting! (google Lady Olivia Durdin-Robertson, the founder of the 'fellowship of isis' who lived in the castle). Apparently there are a few ghosts resident, but we weren't staying overnight so didn't get to see anything strange! The grounds and woodland area were nice, wild not manicured, bluebells were in full flower. Really enjoyed visiting and learning the history.Written 7 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Christy_Luv2Gorey, Ireland1,910 contributionsWell worth a visit here to check out this historic 150tonnes stone, resting on stones. HOW this was achieved is anyone's guess. This is one of the largest in Europe. Enjoy!! Visit on a nice day, as there's over a 5-minute walk to actually see and touch this Dolman.Written 14 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
