Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So friendly staff and guides. Everything was taking care of, so you can just enjoy the experience. I went on the sea cave trip and its was the perfect length time to see and enjoy the nature

A group of us went night kayaking with varying or no skills for kayaking. We felt so safe with Eamon, Rowan & Ziggy. Lots of “Christmas cracker” jokes 🤣, stories & information on the surrounding area. The guides were so patient, gentle & kind. The experience of being immersed in the dark surrounded by different cloud formations, sun spots on far away mountains & the calm, “glass” sea was amazing. Thank you all so much for a wonderful experience ❤️

We did SUP Paddleboarding with Liam. It was a beautiful evening on Mannin Bay and our group of 5 adults and kids had a fabulous time. We were all beginners except one and we all got the hang of it in no time. Liam was very friendly and informative and made it lots of fun. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing trip into Bantry Bay with Bantry Bay Boat Hire yesterday. The sea was like a glass reflecting pool and the sun was shining. Bantry Bay is stunning, flanked by the Sheep’s Head and Beara Peninsulas, it is a beautiful sight from land, but the best way to really appreciate its biodiversity and splendour is from the water. John took us out to Whiddy Island, then some sea caves on the the Sheep’s Head side of the Bay. We then sat in the centre of the Bay, with the engine off and listened to the sounds of nature and admired the wonders of geology and the natural world all around us. We set off again and, for a little while, we thought we would not spot any significant wildlife-maybe it just wasn’t our day.
However, then John spotted a pod of friendly common dolphins and they soon came over to say “Hello”. Seeing these amazing creatures up close, in the wild and from the water level position that the rib allows you, is an amazing experience. They are as special as you would expect.
John then took us to the site of the devastation caused by the Whiddy Island disaster. The remnants of the piers and bridges now provide sanctuary for large numbers of sea birds.
We then headed towards Glengariff to have a look around Garnish Island. We were so lucky! John pointed out the sea eagles’ old nest from last year and was about to take us to see this year’s one, when we spotted a sea eagle perched on a tree, looking magnificent. As we were about to move on, we spotted the second eagle and it flew! It is a rare and wonderful sight. It made an already good trip, into a great one.
We then headed back to Bantry and dry land.
A shout out for John, our Captain, who was knowledgeable, helpful and charming. The safety briefing was thorough too.

Lovely and therapeutic. Lough Gill was so calm and had a great guide in Niall. He made it all look so easy and taught us the basics superbly.

Brilliant lessons with Jude who looked after my son and his two friends for a 16th birthday treat. They had such a great time, we booked another 2 hour lesson for the following day! Really professional school and great teachers - the boys were standing on their boards in the first 20 minutes. They didn't stop talking about it for the rest of the weekend!

We had Tiernan as our guide. We had our 8 year old daughter with us and he took amazing care with her. It really was the highlight of our summer. Kayaking in such beautiful surroundings, stand up paddle boarding and then the inflatable park. Great craic.

I had an amazing trip with Oona, it was an honour to experience the wild country side and coast of Kerry in such an unique way. As an intermediate paddler, I felt very safe and learned a lot on the trip. Oona gave lots of very useful advice without taking from the relaxing experience. I would highly recommend Wild Sup tours if you are looking for an unforgettable adventure.

We were a party of 12 hens and did a mixture of kayaking and paddle boarding. Everyone loved it. Rory and Finn were great. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing sup lesson with Eva on a sunny and calm Sunday morning. She was so helpful and guided us along and showed us how to stand up, it was a lot easier than we thought with her help! We had such a great time and will definitely come back again, and would recommend anyone in the area to do it. Thank you!

Organised two hill climbs with North West Adventures. I was part of a club booking of 17 people. Two guides accompanied us each day. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and always had safety to the fore. Thoroughly recommend this company for your walks.
