Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been to emerald (then Tayto) park many times but this was our first time doing the Christmas experience.

It is a wonderful day for the family. Only the junior section rides are open but these are actually good enough.

We loved the sing-along train the conductor was wonderful.

The mini-panto is great and good fun for the kids (and bigger kids).

The actual Santa experience section could be improved as we stood in a queue for a long time even though we'd booked a time.
They could have elves singing/playing games with the children here.
Also the little walk to Santas actual hut is very poor.

The elf we had bringing us to Santa was lovely and great with the kids. Santa himself looked the part, he was friendly but wasn't very interactive with the children which was a bit disappointing.

Santa gives the children a token to go get their gift. The elves in the wrapping room were again so lovely and bubbly. I think a better option here is letting the children choose a gift/category of gift as in arts & crafts, science, football etc. My son loved his but my daughter got a science project which she feels is more like homework lol

The girls on the photo collection station were very kind and patient with everyone.

The staff here from arriving until we left were an absolute delight.

We didn't expect much walking in on a whim? however after the tour my wife and I looked at each other and pretty much said "well worth it". The person doing the commentary on the Otters, Penguins and Shark tank was very good. the Butterfly area was one of the better ones I have been in. The fish and sea creatures they had in such a small aquarium (and small town) was impressive. Good Job Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium

This is a fairly small aquarium. A little pricey. It’s a decent way to spend an hour but you won’t need much more than that to get around. There are a wide variety of exhibits and everything is easy to see. Especially good for younger kids.

On Saturday 14th September 2024, On Saturday 14th September, Open Doors Club from Swatragh, County Derry had wonderful visit to Tropical World. When we arrived, our group received a great welcome from Clive, Michael and Staff who went above and beyond their duties in giving their time in making sure we had a most enjoyable visit. It was a wonderful experience visiting the Mini Zoo of Tropical World Birds, 🐦 🕊️ Parrots, 🦜 Reptiles, 🦎 Creepy Crawlies, Monkeys 🐒 🐵 and other Mammals.
It was lovely to see the most beautiful and exotic Butterflies 🦋 in free flight from all across the world.
Tropical World is a very interesting place and well worth visiting.
A great day was had by all. We look forward to returning when it opens up in 2025.,🥰🎉🦜🐦

We thought the National Reptile Zoo. Lots of amazing creatures to look at. Expensive enough to go in-€48 for two adults & two kids, but good fun. Our kids got to touch a cornsnake, gecko & tortoise. The lady doing the show & tell used words like ‘pedantic’ when kids answered questions correctly, so difficult for them to understand her or know if they were right or wrong about the animal facts they had. But overall a very enjoyable experience.

We came here en route to Cork. It was a great spot for a stopover. It just looks like a barn or farm from the outside, but actually has quite a bit to offer for short visit. The parrot-talk and animal feeding was fun for the kids. The cafe served hot food and there were picnic tables.
Kids liked the reptile house and the playground. It's not huge, but definitely didn't disappoint.

Chuas anseo nuair a d'oscail sé ar dtús agus níor thuigeas é - ní raibh mórán ann agus cén fáth go gcuirfeá áit saghas cosúil le uisceadán in aice le uisceadán? Bhíodar ag lorg aiseolais agus braithim go glacadar le cuid de mar tá i bhfad níos mó le déanamh anois; níos mó carachtair san áit, agus a thuilleadh le teacht de réir dealraimh. Bhí an scáileán pictiúrí AN-taitneamhach do mo mhac. Chaitheamar uair go leith ann ar a laghad agus bhaineamar an-sult as. Ach 1) I seomra amháin tá 3 rud difriúil (an seomra leis an mbord fada le bia air) agus cuireann sé sin saghas mearbhall ort; níl cuma dírithe nó eagraithe air 2) Táimid sa Ghaeltacht! Cá bhfuil an Gaelinn? Is ar éigin a bhí focal dá laghad ann! Ní thuigim é sin, go h-áirithe ó mhuintir na h-áite, agus mar sin ní bheidh mé ag tabhairt ráta níos airde go dtí go bhfuil sé ann. Tá sé san uisceadán béal dorais. Tabhair meas don dteanga - is rud tarraingteach í do thurasóirí chomh maith! Ach seachas sin, an-maith, le bean álainn a bheannaigh dúinn agus a thug bréagán beag do mo mhac.

I went here when it first opened and didn't understand it - there wasn't much there, and why would you put a place like an aquarium next to an actual aquariaum? They were actively looking for feedback at the time, and I think they listened to it, because there's much more to do and see now; more personality to the place, and more to come apparently. My son loved the drawing screen. We spent overall at least an hour and a half there and both enjoyed it very much. But 1) The room with the long table with food on it is too, "Busy." There's too many aspects to it. It doesn't seem organised and just kind of confused me and made me a bit dizzy. At least 3 different things going on in it 2) We're in the Gaeltacht! Where's the Irish? There's barely a word of it there. I don't understand that, particularly from locals, and because of that it won't be getting a higher rating until that changes. The aquarium next door to it has it everywhere. Respect our language - tourists find it attractive too y'know! Other than that, though, very good, with a lovely woman who greeted us and gave my little boy a toy.

Had a lovely couple of hours spent here today with my niece and hubby, much more then we expected, lots of different animals who enjoys being fed especially the very cute Pygmy goats, Connie was very friendly and informative about the animals and even the fish.
A few indoor activities to, a bouncy castle and the shooters was fun. Also a little cafe for coffee and slushes
All in all a good day
