Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you have been to Bicester in the UK this is almost an exact replica in Ireland. Situated just 40 minutes from Dublin this a collection of retail outlet stores, expensive stores but has the household names like Adidas, Under Armour, Nike and you can get your coffee fix from Starbucks and Costa. Car park is free and there is also a tesco superstore nearby. Its well manned and clean. Great to kill a couple of hours by enjyoing retail therapy.

Wow. Cant say enough about my visit. Huge credit to Roscommon Co. Co. & everyone who had a hand in preserving such a stunning building. Lots to see here too. From local art to Connacht Rangers exhibit. Thomas & Michelle are there to welcome you & guide you through the histroy of the building and the family behind it. So refreshing to meet guides that have such a passion & knowledge for what they do. I left with a love for this house. Please, please, for yourself... go visit.

a good 3 hours spent wandering the stalls Brought back memories of childhood visits to local indoor markets. Nothing too much trouble for stall holders and their colleagues even when harangued by wave after wave of tourists If you dont pig out on the samples on the food stalls then a must is the American style hotdog stand with made to order food

Lovely place with so many options for everything you can think of... things for the house, tools, plants, vegetables, fruits, fish, meats... You can stay there for hours watching the stalls. So many foods and desserts that I left wanting to go back, because I wanted to taste much more and I couldn't.

I'm not sure if it's free to enter the place, because one day we entered for free, but the next they were charging to enter. I don't know if there was any specific event or what.

Very interesting collection of paintings. I only spent here 1 hr which is not enough to fully explore all the collections but what I saw was amazing. If you love art and Caravaggio style you can’t skip a visit

Every Sunday the people park hosts the , market, (mostly food), the locals and tourists flock here in droves especially on a sunny day, with the beautiful gardens and plenty of lawn to lounge about on this event is the perfect way to spend a Sunday, we like to enter at george street upper, enjoying the park, down the harbour side there are stalls along the metals walk and at the library park area to enjoy, if you have time the pier is also an enjoyable walk.

I was delighted to have time to pop in after visiting the castle opposite.
A lovely church, grand architecture and peaceful inside. Lovely crib scene and Christmas trees.

Stopped in here by chance and was very surprised and impressed both by the size of the centre & the selection of shops. Centre & toilets are also incredibly clean.

While we hadn’t anticipated a long stop we spent some time here browsing the shops and picking up a few bits for the kids. We also got our coffee/chocolate fix in Butlers cafe which was constantly busy.

There is plenty of parking onsite and it’s free to park there. The sat nav went a little mad trying to get us out of there but I’m sure the locals have it down to a tee.

Nice clothing and homewares store that has a rich history in Athlone. There are some information boards down by the Shannon that explain some of the history of Burgess’s.

The gallery is located on the river and the light pouring in through the glass lined corridor is stunning in itself.

The gallery features different local artists and is well worth a visit. Some beautiful thought provoking pieces on display.

Their is currently no admission charge.

As I had small children and a dog with me I was unbale to venture beyond the craft shop and cafe which were all laid out in a very inviting style. The staff were very friendly and helpfu. I understand it hosts a theatre and art gallery and must be a welcome addition to the residents of Carrick

What a lovely morning we spent in Doreen’s beautiful gardens set in a peaceful spot of heaven. We then toured her gallery and enjoyed her fine paintings of local scenes and more. One or two ladies purchased paintings and were thrilled to have a memory of our visit to the area. Thank you Doreen for your warm welcome.

Kinvara is always a pleasure to visit, and on a Friday the market is amazing! Great stalls (especially the food!!) and wonderful atmosphere too! There is somthing magical about strolling through the stalls, listening to the live music, watching people dance and sing along, smelling the food and the sea air and talking to people! There are no strangers in this musical magic village. Well worth a visit...

What a great visit to this wee Gem close to an ancient monastic site!

A most helpful staff, energetic, experienced and very welcoming made our visit a highlight of this Ireland tour for my valued guests

Talking about gin, all its ingredients like juniper, all kind of herbs, flowers and spices.

What a tasting room, wee distillery, and hand production line.

A family business , some 5 years old, run by neighbours and friends of the family.

After starting with gin and vodka, now going into whiskey.

And if the talk, visit and tasting is not enough, you can even join one of the weekend gin schools where you distill your own creation of gin. Wow! Couldn't get any better!
